Her marriage was one of being a support to him, if she had shown anger or disgust, the media would have been negative of her not supporting him, even at her _expense_ . She had to be seen supporting him, what was expected fully, even the affair with c, if that's what he wanted. She should go along quietly, and suffer inside. He only lowered the little self worth and esteem she had. It wasn't recognized in that era, and barely is now trust me, I live it, but what he did was emotional, and psychological abuse to keep her in line, and under him. It goes way beyond a cold fish of a man. A cold fish maybe doesn't hug and kiss his wife, he was abusive. He wished to keep her in line, breed two kids, and leave him alone to do as he wished. He knew the earlier you "trained" a wife especially a very young, insecure one, the better, why it began before marriage even. Done in many of these type marriages, sadly. It's also done in common everyday marriages, sometimes alone, sometimes with physical abuse. Sadly, it's 2021 and most don't see, or accept emotional abuse, or blame the victim for not being a good enough wife, not doing as asked, not keeping the house tidy, cooking you name it. Though much more prevalent than physical abuse, few listen to the victims. They are gaslighted, in other words if for example Diana said you embarrassed me tonight, his reply would have been..oh I was just joking, relaxing the moment, _everyone else_ laughed, must be your perception of it..and so the self esteem, and worth sink lower, you stop questioning anything, but your own sanity. You have people family's especially, that can't see it or figure you're not beat, it's just an argument what's wrong with _you_ ? These abusers make it appear as they are the nice guy, she is the nut. Recall how long he told her she was just paranoid, and nuts that he and camilla were "just friends" she knew they weren't, but feared questioning, now u can see why. The one time she did confront camilla,one on one Charles, she said was all over her like a bad rash all the way home, meaning yelling at her, how dare you, and don't try it again, making her cry, and doubt the strength she showed. Usually narcissists, the only escape is leaving them, and having no contact, as they will forever use you to emotionally batter. Was 20 less than a month when married. One reason he chose a younger woman he could "mold" how he wanted her to be. Many cultures not uk, but others, marry 12 year olds to old men, as they need someone to control them they claim. She was such a lost soul at first. She later found her own strengths, her own wings and fought back, and paid dearly for it. Emotional abuse is still rampant today, actually worse, because physical is now frowned upon, New ways are done, behind doors in private, the victim usually being labeled as she was unstable, and mentally ill, when it was her marriage , or lack of.. Charles did not reject Harry ever. He over indulged the nasty little brat at every turn. The entire RF have been covering Harry's bad behaviour his whole life. Diana was wrong to talk about Charles disappointment that he didn't have a daughter when Harry was born! Diana knew she was carrying a boy from the scans she had. So why didn't she tell Charles that instead of letting him hope for a girl right up to the moment the baby was born? Anyway the fact that Charles was momentarily disappointed does not mean he rejected Harry. Charles was always a loving and hands on father to both of his sons. As for poor William, he has been his brother's keeper all of his life. I suggest you do some proper research into the boy's relationship. They were always very close! You are not British and are very ignorant about the back story and history of the relationship between Harry and his father and brother. The Royal Family and the Queen. In fact everyone always knew that Harry was the Queen's favourite! There is loads and loads of footage of Harry with the Queen and his family, very happy and having fun. Also old interviews with Harry and William and his family. Watch some of them. Sadly Harry has lost sight of the love his family gave him. But also the people of the UK. When Diana died the Brits took Harry and William under their wing and virtually adopted them because of their tragic loss. Especially Harry. He became the favourite Prince.
