@@LittleCar - here is some inspiration for future videos: Did you do one on the Vel Satis? Modus? Laguna? Clio?

@@niklaswejedal463 Patrick worked on the Laguna, so that's an option (if he's up for another video, not sure he is). He wasn't a fan of the Vel Satis final car, and the Clio was before his time. I'm not sure about the Modus. But certainly they all deserve a video at some point!

@@LittleCar - I know Patrick was not satisfied with how the Vel Satis turned out - and that is partly why I think it would be intresting to hear about it from his perspective. Would love to know how he had envisioned the car, if he had the last word in how it should be. Anyway - looking forward to what-ever will come next!

I have Scenic 2 and love it, it gives me entirely new perspective and satisfaction knowing that it s designer enjoyed this project

A wonderfully interesting and intelligent video. We have three Scenic II examples in our family in Australia and I have NO idea how to replace them with anything as cleverly designed except a claustrophobic Skoda Karoq, or something much larger externally. What a wonderful designer!

If confirms one of my feelings about Renault. 90’s to 2000’s was a good period. Then Ghosn screwed it. But as it seems to be cyclic, we may be ahead of a new good period for Renault. Hope the Renaulution plan will bring good cars. Looking forward to see the new R5e

Ghosn is living proof why you should never let bean counters have the final say. He nullified the design wave that Renault were on and it's the reason why they are where they are today. Utterly distructive long term and all in pursuit of short term - stock market pleasing - results.

This was a great video! Btw, I wish intelligence will make a return to car design soon. Too many new cars (especially from Renault) only seem to be about attitude, but lacking any new intelligent ideas.

I quite like the Scenic cause it wasnt boxy shape like other mpv-s at the time. And yes even though it was a 5 seater it still had more room than a 5 seat Golf/Corolla/Focus

So spacious inside(esp with seats removed) , flat floor, sliding seats and loads of legroom. In 4 and a bit metres.
