I’m more impressed with the fact that you went through that much trouble to fake a restoration like I get if it’s something small but a moped is pretty ambitious. Imagine if you put that towards actually restoring something.

It’s nice to watch the scooter being repaired but you can’t fool your viewers by making it look rusty, and say it’s abandoned for 50 years. Be honest !!!

I like how he pretends he's searching at the beginning. And how all the plastic on these bikes rusts. And how all the bolts come straight out. It's almost as if they chucked a load of brown paint and dirt on a working bike and just made it all up.

I like how the vinyl seat cover has the same fake rust-colored paint as the body panels. Nice touch. And the rubber tire as well, except for the perfectly clean center where you rode it there to "hide" it in the weeds.

Nice to see a vespa put back on the road but more like 15years old lx150 made to look dirty, having worked on a few was surprised it all came apart so easy, also bodywork looked surprisingly dent free 🤔

Nice! Im also going to restore my vespa! and like you im going to paint the inside of the engine/transmission witht the berring on ofc (15:52 and 16:11), also painting the spark plug (22:28) and the air intake (22:06) for thoes extra horses and also paiting my wheels black (16:37 and 22:20)

Plastic and rubber does not rust. Btw, that is not 50 years old, I have worked with motorcycles, mopeds, scooters. The CVT weights and belt are too good condition as well. Oh, and one more thing: there were no automatic chokes 50 years ago. Sad that some people believe you..

It's a 4-stroke LX, not even 20 years old. A Primavera or a 150 Sprint would be 50.
