Toyota engines are too old and very rust, many are irreversibly damaged, so we have to order the damaged parts. While waiting for the product to arrive and in this video we only disassemble all the parts, please understand. We will refine this Toyota engine in the next video

The amount of things done incorrectly in this video are shocking. Literally reusing the head gasket and painting the mating surface on the head and cam bearings? In addition to just impacting everything down. Doubt that engine will run for 10 minutes without blowing up.

@Gerard R. They done so much wrong with this engine even put the main bearing caps on back to front, old valve stem seals, didn't hone the bores, I could go on and on and onI am shaking with rage!... I am a nvq level 4 qualified vehicle engineer

Using an impact wrench instead of a torque wrench..... you've go to be kidding..... using the old gaskets? No valve spring compressor? Reusing old parts? Wow, where is this guy? We all should know so as not to bring our cars there....

I know but then again "even though they did not do it right" they was just showing people the process of what is involved in renovating a car engine, And also put a disclaimer that "for economical reasons we will not be using any new parts or getting any thing machined( it is just to show the process)" also a voiceover would have helped so much

Omg... Remember, son - to "restore" engine you dont need new pistons, seals, reboring... You need to wash it with water , paint in reb and green, and assemble back. Yes, son, you can keep old oil filter. But don't forget to paint it!

Use the same oil filter. ✔️ Use original spark plugs. ✔️ Use the same head gasket. ✔️ Use original lobe bearings. ✔️ Use the the same piston ring seals. ✔️ Fuck the timing. ✔️ Watch as the whole engine rust from the inside out. ✔️ Restoration complete. ✔️

That was one of the worst engine rebuilds I have seen they did not even replace the head gasket or timing belt or tensioner. The cylinder head will definitely leak it was not resurfaced and they reused headgasket that engine is junk a complete waste of time they have no knowledge about cars

I was literally expecting those guys to send the block and head to the machine shop for resurfacing! But no! As we all know fresh paint is sticky and can definitely seal those cylinders exceptionally good! And if you combine that with used head gasket it comes with 23 years warranty expansion!

В чём-то смысл такой реставрации используя старые детали? Ну первые 100 км пока нагара нет, может будет какой-то резулььат. Большая польза была бы если просто сверху помыли и пыльнули, а то, что масляный фильтр оставили старый и прокладку ГБЦ, не считая остального, вообще молчу. Не дай Бог попадётся кому-то такое чудо.

Да уж! Это даже ремонтом не назовешь. Он даже не поменял масляной фильтр и тупо покрасил блок вместе с старым фильтром. К тому же, он не поменял прокладку гбц, диск сцепление+корзина и не сделал момент затяжки гбц, коленвала и т.д. Короче, тупо почистил, покрасил и собрал. Это не ремонт. Вряд ли движок будет делать пробег, сразу же развалится. Сделано от болды🙄👎

Да уж, не поменять фильтр и прокладку ГБЦ, это реально странно)) Кольца тоже вроде старые оставили). Хотя может, когда на машину поставят, поменяют хотя бы фильтр, когда масло зальют.

А они все так реставрируют, исправную вещь обливают какой то гадостью, она ржавеет, потом разбирают, чистят, моют, красят. Все красиво, а мы дураки им просмотры набираем.

Сразу видно - наши люди. Никакой защитной одежды, перчаток, респираторов, очков во время очистки. Все по барабану. Замеры шеек, цилиндров, состояние хона , тарелок клапанов и т.д. - ничего не было слелано?

Не совсем понял зачем было разбирать? Так бы краской облили и делов то. Покрашенные привалочные плоскости, покрашенные поверхности трения, подозрительно чистые поршни и тд. Бу прокладка головки блока это совсем отлично. Это ещё про затяжку всего и вся пневмогайковертом не стоит забывать...
