I understand the pressure that students feel. A good grade can mean a better future and happy parents. A bad grade can mean a broke future and menial jobs. What a pity that students can't take the time to learn to love Shakespeare's plays. Genius inspires genius. Higher learning should be just that, inspiration to lofty thinking. Not a prerequisite for life's "job faire." Best Wishes to students wherever you are. May you be inspired.

Historically, King Richard III was never really tyrannical (proportionate to all the other kings and queens) and he claimed the throne legitimately after Edward IV's death, as the two heirs were too young to assume power; this rise to power took place without the murder of anyone, and was quite an uneventful and banal change of power. the reason why he lost his power was because he was an inexperienced (and thus highly unsupported) king.

Richard became regent because Edward V was too young to rule. However that did not entitle Richard to usurp the crown.

@@mikelheron20 They disappeared during their stay in the tower and Richard was their guardian at that time. The Queen and her daughter were still taking sanctuary in the local church, which showed they had some fear of the Duke. If I remember my history Henry Tutor was still in France or about to land to start an invasion around the time the two princes went missing.

One can easily see the prototype of highly political plots like game of thrones and dune in Shakespeare's historic plays.

@@srkbhayo Well, in game of thrones, there's a hot sun priestess giving birth to shadows that do her bidding, A horde of ice zombies held at bay by rugged old man and children off a wall made of ice, and there's an ancient sorcery city with fourteen alchemy towers flowing with lava that got destoryed Atlantis-style in one fiery explosion. I think that makes up for not having a ghost visiting you when you're sleeping?

English history has been distorted for that relatively short period so that everyone can enjoy their favorite Shakespearean Snidely Whiplash. Sad. The real story is slowly emerging and it is much more interesting, but because of the ingrown resistance to changing an established meme it will always be secondary. England missed a possible period of growth in improvement in the legal status of its population. But hey, the Tudors are so much more "interesting".
