I went to the uni in 1998. 18 years old into the unknown. Huddersfield has a unique look to it. Not much to do other than doing the clubs & bars back then which I had no interest in whatsoever. I'm glad the shopping centre/mall was finally built & it looks cleaner now not like the black sooty yellow brick walls when I was there. Still I thoroughly enjoyed walking miles on my own discovering new places in & around the town centre & where I lived. Food was good too. When this lockdown ends I'll be getting a bus there in the morning to spend a day in the sun for old times sake.

@@almafromengland8697 Oh thank you! You too :) I've been considering buying real estate in one of several places and Huddersfield was one of them, so I was watching videos of it to get more of a feel for the area. People seem to like it there!

Huddersfield has an acquired taste. It's a simple town with some good people. Come here and visit it first.

I'm planning on coming here next year for college all the way from the Caribbean....is this during the summer??? And how long is it this sunny??? And do they have alot of places to go for entertainment like....the cinema, restaurants, places where u go on rides and those stuff yk?? Really wanna know because I'm not sure if I'd be able to go back home every summer....

Huddersfield is a small town. The life is not extremely agitated. There are restaurants and coffee shops, but not a lot of entertainment, like in Leeds or Manchester. But, Huddersfield has its uniqueness and charm.

Huddersfield is a small town, but there are jobs for students. Don't be deflated after the first rejected application. Perseverence is the key for succes. Good luck. Keep safe.♡♡♡
