Predominately racing across the A4 & the A315 is the H91! The route is operated by Metroline Travel using New Routemaster's from Brentford [AH] Garage. However, other vehicles such as Gemini 3 B5LH's can find their way onto this route, which I got and wanted to be fair. I do hate the tomato refurb though - (they even refurbed the YX69's on the 393 smh...). I knew the experience would be better without an NRM, so I was happy anyways. The route goes from Hounslow West, Isleworth, Osterley, Brentford, Gunnersbury, Chiswick, Turnham Green, Ravenscourt Park and then Hammersmith Station. I believe this is a nice route as it links the A4 very well. And it is a great alternative to the Piccadilly line, but it can get hectic with the traffic when passing through the A4 & A315 in the rush hour, in Chiswick as well. This is because of the stupid cycle lanes resulting in big trucks blocking the road. The driver was quite fast throughout which was good, he even waved in the end when I took the thumbnail picture which was good! 👍
A mini-brief history of this route was when it was with RATP. The route used to have Scania Omnicities {SP's} up until November 2018 when it got the fairly new Mark II Gemini 3 B5LH's off the H12. This was because of the Euro 6 thing which was kind of stupid to say the least, which resulted in the 79 getting H91's Omnicities. Then thankfully, 285 went to Abellio 4 years ago in June 2020, so their Mark I LJ15's moved to the H91 so that the LF18/68 plates can move back to Edgware where they belong for the 79. Then, the route got NRM's when the route went to Metroline which ruined the route a lot as NRM's aren't even good enough when it comes to thrash. I like how both companies operated the H91, but I do think that the route should've gone to Abellio & the H32 should have gone to Metroline instead. But I do think Metroline improved this route by giving it G3's.
