@@Cleered Nah there is a problem with Overwwatch ranking. Look up Elo hell. There is people who can compete with diamond friends in their games when cueing with them but they still get put in silver.

They missed an opportunity to make the "jade" weapon more customizable. Ie: different colors. Also I think people prefer the gold weapons more? Since that was one of the original awards.

@@WhiteFeatherryea but as it seems it’s not possible you get 10 points for a win … that’s gonna be the reason for me leaving the game. 25 points for a win was awesome and I did grind but like that it’s annoying. You get less points and you can only buy golden weapons once at the end of the year who came up with such an bad idea

Its so fricking weird when you win a game and fill your bar, but it does nothing. then you lose a game and your bar is halfway down or all the way gone

They prob will, jade guns is limited until 2025 where the Jade will be removed and another one will be there instead

Its not a rework at all. Its a UI overhaul. It still uses the same data to award ranks.

I dont understand who suggested the emerald weapons, fire that person. Specially as someone who didnt get to earn enough to buy all the gold weapons that I wanted this change is dissapointing

I'm just effing tired of the matching system. I've never been matched with tanks as awful as I have been lately. I'm easily doing 15k+ healing per match with 35-40% damage boost usage, and my fellow healers usually follow right behind that. BUT TANKS are just playing a different game these days. Mfs LOVE running into a room for a small health pack, breaking line of sight, and getting cornered. Got me screaming into the mic with Edna Mode energy like “NO ROOMS!”.

Hoshi, I am absolutely starving for these changes omfg.. After winning the required amount of matches to progress in tank/support, I've been kept at the same rank tier number literally *5 seperate times* in the past month alone... My win rate is irrefutably higher in my Tank and Support. They have me placed in Diamond in both DPS and Open Queue, but my Tank is hard stuck in high gold no matter how many times I win in a row, and my support is hard stuck in high plat no matter how many times I win in a row.. It's infuriating because It makes me feel like I'm wasting my time and energy on a game I've played for so long.

It doesnt really make sense to me for them to remove the option of gold weapons. Just add jade weapons as an extra option instead of removing the gold entirely. Just giving us less for no reason.

I just placed in Platinum 1 on both Support Role Queue and Open Role Queue. I wonder with this Rank Reset where I'll be at officially from now on. Hefty changes to comp and gameplay compare to playing the game this week. Hopefully it changes the game for the better and I get to enjoy it even more!

i did the same thing while previously being masters the season before, after 1 game won i went to diamond 5 on both roles which is weird bc on dps i went 5-4-1 (draw) for placements, and supp i went 8-2 yet placed the same i think they already have it planned what your gonna place n the only thing that changes it is excessive losses

I love green! So I'm happy. But I know it's a colour people don't necessarily like. Also...I doubt this ranked gonna change anything. I have feeling it will be another mess.... I don't want to be placed AAGAAAIN in bronze 5 lol!

@@bobtehdinosaur I just wish they added some DEPTH to those stupid colours...give it two different shades so none of those colours look flat. ;.; also i'd rather have platinum or silver before green... but im still putting it on zen ballz. :3

Wait so I have 2600 Legacy Comp points stuck now? I just won my first comp and got 10 of the Jade points. So I have to wait and not spend any Jade points I get, then when it's over (when is the end of '24?) if I don't buy Jade I can then have those transferred to my gold buying credits? Can anyone confirm this shit. Ugly guns too.

Sounds right to me, kinda dumb cause i want jade weapons but the points get taken away from me at the end of the season. So me myself and i have to do 150 games (that includes winning all said games) in order to get 1 jade weapon, with the average support cue time for more as 4 min and an average game time of 12 mins... yikes Shit gets wild

The passive healing is not too big of a deal imo, but now the big question is how Mercy will be affected by the updated support role passive. We might also get big complaints about Mercy having 250 HP, as I'm sure that some people still won't be able to hit Mercy consistently despite the bigger projectile size. With the increased health pools and pocketing being made less effective by the damage role passive, I think Mercy's damage boost could be reverted to 30%.

The heal passive is not going to be that strong. A Cass will need 15 seconds to go from say 50HP to fully healed, the reduction in heals while taking damage is a good thing, How annoying is it to pump shot after shot into the enemy DPS just to watch their health bar simply refill after every shot! Tank health buffs are pretty full on though, 800HP Hog!! (my fav tank) LETS GO! that with larger projectiles is going to be sick! can't wait.

@@bobtehdinosaur idk, I feel like emerald or mint would've popped more. Jade clashes with a few of the characters base skins and quite a few recolours/legendaries/mythics

@@mother_of_wasps What I'm trying to say is that the "jade" that they gave us, doesn't look like jade at all, it's just plain green. Jade is a crystal. It should look like a green semi-translucent marble. Emerald would've been nice too. I personally think that they should've went with platinum instead, it would just make the most sense since we already have gold.
