Serperior was my first ever starter. I adore snakes and serpent themed designs, so he’s definitely my number one fella for favorite grass starters. Now Meowscarada, I absolutely ADORE Meowscarada. I love everything about him. He’s either an extremely close second behind Serperior, or directly next to him in 1st place

My fave is normal Decidueye, but I’m finally doing my first play through of Violet and I love Meowscarada’s Flower Trick!

My favorite Grass starter might be Rillaboom, but then I think about Serperior and Torterra, which makes me uncertain. Torterra was my first favorite Grass starter thanks to Platinum gifting it Seed Bomb. Serperior became my favorite Unova starter. Rillaboom was exciting to see as it was the official gorilla Pokémon(especially if you're like me and didn't count Slaking as a gorilla), which became better thanks to the combination of its hidden ability and Grassy Glide. I'm still sad that Grassy Glide got nerfed as much as it did.

Favorites: Meganium, Sceptile, Torterra, Serperior, Chesnaught, Decidueye, Hisuian Decidueye, Meowscarada. Least Favorites: Venusaur, Rillaboom. Some side notes: - Torterra is at the very top of my favorite Grass starters, Serperior in 2nd, and Sceptile and Decidueye are sharing 3rd place together. - Venusaur, I've actually never used it in a playthrough. I plan on doing a mono Poison run to see if my opinions can change after using it. - I love Decidueye, though I think I might like the Hisuian version a little bit more than normal Decidueye. I still wish it was faster. - Out of all 8 generations, 4 of them I've chosen the Grass starter, 2 of them were the Fire starter, and 3 of them were the Water starter. - Meowscarada was in a similar boat as Incineroar for me in the beginning. I initially disliked it, but after using it in a playthrough and seeing the personality in its animations, I grew to like it a lot.
