I have no experience with Parkinson's, but I have plenty with Alzheimer's, and you cannot trust an Alzheimer's patient to make good decisions. But you can expect many of them to deny there's anything wrong with them. One patient often insisted that she could walk into any hospital and go right back to work as an x-ray tech, a job she last did in the 80's.

Two members of my family have Parkinson’s. It’s not anything like Alzheimer’s. While it has its own obstacles for sure, unless the person has dementia with Parkinson’s-like Lewy Bodies Dementia- their thinking it is not impaired.

⁠4 out of 5 people with Parkinson’s develop PDD (Parkinson’s disease dementia) as the disease progresses, which is only exacerbated by stress. So yes, it can absolutely affect cognition.

@@dmatt339 Correct, my father has Parkinson’s and Lewy Bodies Dementia. He’s totally impaired neurologically. But my brother-in-law just has Parkinson’s and his brain function is fine…. So far. Can we all question what’s wrong with Trump as well?

@@roxiesbroadwaybreakdown5599 Yes, but the problem is that we on the left are rational and want a president that is in good health, and we know that some Dems and independents may sit out the election if they’re not inspired by Biden, in which case we lose; Republicans are corrupt, they’ll accept Trump with dementia and as a felon. We have to beat him. Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. Biden has been sufficient but Biden should take an updated cognitive exam from an independent medical professional or Dems should consider a different nominee and soon.

@@roxiesbroadwaybreakdown5599 I totally get that Trump is unhinged and also exhibits memory loss and other symptoms of cognitive decline. I just think his supporters don’t care and will elect him anyway while some Dems clearly are worried about Biden and that is a liability.

Henna removal,.. it was a process to get it removed and took a long time. The Red looked good, but was hard to keep up with. LOL. I love Rising. The Democrats trying to villainize Kennedy over an obviously old attempt at humor as well as an article full of "alleged" stories is ridiculous in comparison to the history of weird behaviors from both Biden & Trump! All three candidates should be debating, not just the two parties. (Kennedy has far more support than Ross Perot did in 1992, and who participated in all three debates). Given the fact that the media hasn't allowed Kennedy equal air-time, or even mention him at all, - We the People should decide for ourselves who the real villains are...

There's a cheap and easy way to test if someone has dementia, in fact my physician gave me the same test when I hit 75. You simply give the patient three words to remember, then return 10-minutes later to see if they could remember the words. If you pass, you're good, if you don't, you are immediately a candidate for further tests to determine your mental accuity. Has anyone given this test to Biden??
