Notes on Die Maschine Easter Egg. -Build points, start with knife (go to round 7-8). -Open doors, get power on. (Save a zombie the round you start power). -Activate anomaly, Get pack-a-punch part and create the PAP machine. (While in dark aether, get weapon and shoot fuse box near plane portal). -Wait for ‘big-chungus’ to spawn (usually spawns around level 8-9). -Two tasks: -Shoot mushroom on tree in swamp. -Kill him and collect yellow key card from his split forms after killing them. -Go to ‘weapons lab’ and insert key card into machine and collect the remote control. -Collect zombie souls in the ‘living room’ to receive your wonder weapon. -Go upstairs and shoot wooden box located on top of the ‘penthouse’. -Go down and suck up canister with wonder weapon that is across the way from the ‘mezzanine’. -Go to swamp and collect the flask that was dropped down from hitting the wooden box and place it under the mushroom. -Leave the flask to fill up while you run back down to the weapons lab with the canister and place it in the cleaning unit on the wall. -You’ll need a plague hound kill in the vicinity of the cleaning unit to acquire the essence. -Take the canister that is now full of the essence to the crash site and place it on the box. Hit the box and collect the nova-5 upgrade for the wonder weapon. -Go back and pick up the ‘blue-mutated fungus’ flask from the swamp (usually takes about 2 minutes to fill up). -Take the flask to the speed cola room and place the flask on the box. Interact and unlock (not pick up) next Nova upgrade for the wonder weapon. -Go interact with the box that is in the bottom floor of the particle accelerator room (Will tell you that it is locked-still have to interact with it first though) and then immediately interact with the next anomaly. -Two main objectives while in the dark aether: -Look for the three parts to the aether scope. -Top of the plane -Next to portal in Particle Accelerator Room -Under the staircase in spawn area. -Use all of the fast travels at least once. -Once you have all the parts for the aether scope, go back to the particle accelerator room and interact with the work bench to craft the scope. -Once your mini-map shows that it is scanning, go back into the dark aether (should be in speed cola room at this point) and collect the diary. -Take diary to the three anomalies and hand it to him. -Located directly below the stairs. -In control room near the trial machine. -In particle accelerator room next to work bench where you crafted scope. -Once you exit the dark aether, head back to computer room and interact with computer which will activate glowing tube with four prongs. -You will need to shoot each prong with its respective nova upgrade. -To do this, you’ll need to save a zombie and go back to each box to pick up the specific upgrade to shoot the respective prong. (You don’t carry all of them to switch between). -Go to truck in swamp and interact with the box and then go into the dark aether. -Go to the weapons lab where deadshot is and use the plasma cutter to cut the box (it will take you back to reality) where the box is open. Interact with it and collect nova upgrade. -Go back to speed cola area and shoot prong. -Go to particle accelerator room and activate dark aether again. -Once in dark aether, you’ll need to suck out the energy from the three orange/yellow crystals around the map. After each crystal you’ll need to go shoot the box in the accelerator room before sucking out the next crystal. -One is in the swamp. -One is in the crash site behind Jugg. -One is in the bedroom through the hole in the ceiling. -Open the box and collect the electric nova upgrade and go shoot the tube in the speed cola room. -Go through dark aether (anomaly should be in the medical bay at this point) and activate the anomaly in front of the computer room. -Once anomaly is finished pick up the wrench on the ground and head to original spawn to interact with the tank (three times). -Once the zombie comes out of the hatch, kill him (in any fashion). Once he dies, you’ll need a Semtex grenade (specifically) to throw at the hatch lid. Once you do that, the tank will shoot a round into the trees and drop a part next to the plan in the crash site. -Pick up the part and escort it back to the computer room box and interact with it. (You will not be able to shoot or fight during the escort mode). -At this point, you’ll need big-chungus again. You’ll need kill him and have his split guys (do not kill them) go under the tube in the speed cola room (the one you were shooting at). -Once the split guys are sucked up into the tube, make your way back up to the computer room and activate the computer. -Kill plague hounds and make your way to the PAP machine area so that you can interact with the guy who fell out of the tube. -Once you interact with him and he starts talking, immediately go the the ‘living room’ and interact with the anomaly to enter the dark aether. -Stay in the main room where you activated anomaly and go interact with the anomaly to see guys photo of his family. -At this point you need to square away your character. Load up for boss fight. -Once you pick up the photo of the guys family, you’re going straight to the boss fight. So be sure to do everything you need to do before picking up the photo. -Defend the guy while he destroys the machine. -Poison nova upgrade will leave a cloud of poison to protect him for a little while at a time. -Stay alive. -Exfill to swamp and don’t touch the blue lightning directly. (All credit is due to Chopper and his amazing ability to figure this shit out.- Notes were taken from his video).

I finally did the easter egg solo, my first attempt I fucking died on the escape. Went through the medical bay and just got uber clapped going up the stairs

I rarely comment on KZfaq videos but I must say this was a great tutorial. I was able to complete the Easter egg on my second run (died at the boss fight the first time). I followed your steps for each part and it literally worked great. Thanks for the guide and the lack of bs filler content!

Thank you! Completed the Easter Egg today and I survived the boss fight using a PaP level 1 gun. I was surprised that Orlov barely took any damage but didn’t question it. Very intense at the end but now I’m happy that I can do all these steps easily.

3 years later and this guide still helping people. I just got Seal the Deal on my 2nd try. Got the game a few months ago. The WW with the electric upgrade helped out so much towards the end and always kept 1 or 2 zombies alive so i wouldn't get swarmed when doing the tasks. Thanks so much man!

u can fill the gas canister before getting the canister itslef. go to the suction spot early on the first dog round then kill a dog there it will suck up the gas. then when u go to get the canister with the ww, and place it in the spot, it will fill and u can collect it instantly. then run and do the ice one. much faster

NOTE: The helicopter is deceptively slow to pick you up at the end. I died in the last two seconds because not only did the helicopter not render into the game, but it slowwwly lowers itself down. I’d recommend saving a monkey bomb for the last few seconds

I watched NoahJs guide yesterday and I just want to say that this one is much better. You give more thorough explanations and involve much more gameplay. On Noah’s, it’s just hard to understand where he’s at when he explains a step since he doesn’t show himself walking up to it

Just want to say a massive thank you for the guide , the best on KZfaq, clear explanations and each step became pretty easy afterwards , just cleared my first solo run on my third try , haven't even levelled up perks and i am using the starting loadout with aether level 1 and 1911 pistol because I haven't unlocked any field upgrades yet , subscribed for sure can't wait for the DLC! Here are some updates and techniques: You don’t have to use all the blue tunnels- one seems to work fine When I stopped caring about the well being of Orlov I make it through every time- he won’t die unless you totally ignore him- he needs you to keep baddies off so he can do his job. I think it takes longer if you don’t keep them off him. If you checked for scope parts once (Like on the airplane) when you travel check airplane again if you find a different one it may show up in that same travel You can pre trigger (by X on the box on the truck) the fireball d.I.e. Mod anytime after get the vial filled but have to wait for the requirements to be met to open it. I use monkey bombs and Semtex for Orlov. When they surround him I throw Semtex at him. I use ring of fire so when there are a lot on Orlov I step up to Orlov and use ring of fire Kill the split chungas first before killing the bug chunga when fighting with Orlov- easier to manage one then split another and have four. Open the door headed towards the weapons room on right at bottom of steps entering the underground before starting the Orlov boss fight. If you forget you won’t see it to open it while escaping. When giving the diaries hand them to all three right away and you should be able to finish all three in one travel. Don’t wait till they stop talking. If you shoot the prong and it doesn’t go up shoot it longer. Blue gave me a problem until I shot it long enough then it worked. You can suck the yellow crystals while moving- the range is good on sucker When you throw Semtex on tank makes sure no baddies are nearby tank or they will die. Not good if you left two left at the end of round and they die. If you want to save a shotgun round I shot over the electrical box with yellow card at the purple stone and it opened the electrical box too. I have not seen the scope parts spawn anywhere but the three places he mentioned in video. If you move too far away from the three places you hand the diary to the doctor the baddies come after you again. You don’t have to put the d.I.e. Back to get shockwave for the last of four upgrades. Just open a case then put it back into the same case and you will hAve the shockwave so you can do the fourth upgrade- sucking. Once you do the first prong you can then start the fire upgrade by the truck. By round 14 I can be on the Orlov portion all 4 upgrades done and prepping for boss fight. Double up your tasks- if you need dogs to fill canister get them when you find the scope parts and take them down into weapons room to fill canister. If you quickly give diary to all three anomalies then finish looking for scope parts if you haven’t gotten them already.

The electrical upgrade is ridiculously good in the solo boss fight, since when you kill the megatons they drop refills for its ammo. You can basically fire it nonstop!

So uh…when he is reading the diary to you, don’t shoot any zombies either. It’ll immediately agro them all onto you.

First time commenting on KZfaq ever but got to say this is the best and easiest guide to follow and I just wanted to say thank u for putting this together for us.

A handful of tips after doing this a few times - 1) Do pack-a-punch then do the coffin dance EE which will give you FREE Jugg and you may get lucky and get a great weapon too. it will spawn dogs so run to the room with the canister and kill the dogs there to suck up the gas so you don't have to wait for dogs later. 2) You can get all the Aetherscope parts in one go. Go to the first one that the Anomaly corresponds to and then the next one is in just one of two spots and you have a 50/50 shot at picking right one. There is a lot of time and I can do it in one shot every time. 3) Always make sure you go to the default WW (to get that, go back to the box that the current element came out of, then switch) before you do the Electric upgrade (I effed that up a couple times) 4) I always make sure that I PAP my main weapon 3 times (50K zombie bucks), upgrade it to Purple (500 Blue Salvage) with the poison ammo mod (2K). Make sure your armor fully upgraded (250 Blue Salvage), get all the perks you feel you need (Stamin-up, Quick Revive, Speed-Cola and of course Jugg are my go to's) and buy 2 Monkey bombs, 3 C4, and a Sentry gun BEFORE you pick up the picture and go into the boss fight. I train in the starting area for a few rounds and can usually stockpile enough points and salvage to do all those things by Round 22. 5) Keep the Electric for the WW (IMO) as it absolutely melts the Megatron and the two skinny green guys which I have problems with. 6) Right before the boss fight starts, put the Sentry gun in front of the PAP machine which will kill most of the regular zombies trying to kill Orlov when doing his first part and you can focus on killing zombies/dogs/bosses. 7) Orlov has A LOT of health but I have noticed that he works slower when zombies are around him so once I get a little break, I'll wipe out zombies swarming him but I absolutely focus on staying alive instead of Orlov. That's what I use the C4 for to wipe out Z's swarming Orlov. You can also use one of the monkey bombs too. 8) When running for Exfil, DEFINITELY take Choppers route! I throw a monkey bomb under the Nuke and use my Aether Shroud when I get out of the tunnel and in the open. Sorry so long but I love Chopper's Channel and he has helped my a lot so I wanted to try and help his subs if I could. I hope it does. Peace!

Your tutorial is a god send, its so easy to understand (and despite how you didn't mention the coffin dance easter egg which would reward you items and sometimes purple weapons and either the ray gun or the die machine) the tutorial is just entertaining.

Just as a heads up, for the canister part if you don't have the wonder weapon yet you can still have the machine suck up the plague hounds mist and when you place the canister it'll fill up automatically, it saved me some hassle in the early rounds

14:09 Doing this solo myself, regular grenades do work you just have to cook it long enough for the grenade to explode over the hatch. Obviously if your further away cook it for less time.

I suggest you stay at spawn area untill round 9 then save one go activate machine do blue orbs for box and after u have box on floor u will get dogs then run to get that poison from dogs into that container so u have it ready and continue doing everything Ch0pper said in his guide. To add if u are lucky to get wander weapon from box u won't be able to react with both boxes he mantioned in this vid but just continue doing steps you will be able to do them.And one more thing first pick up nova 5 upgrade so when you are on part where you need to shoot that prongs u have it ready and then in same room u have next upgrade.

In the boss fight u can get out the purple doors by using the aether shroud field upgrade level 3 use the purple door to yard

For anybody wondering why they can’t find aether parts, they are randomized in the same location in the video. Once you find one, you will then have to find another one in the locations you see in the video to see the other.

17:00 if you want, you can use the chopper gunner and skip the entire protect phase I am aware that they patched it, but it still works on offline

😭😭😭 BROOOO I literally did everything right then choked at the exfil sequence and died cause I didn't follow your pathing. I was so damn worried cause I lost Jug going down and made a mad dash not paying attention to that damn lightning. But overall great guide dude. I rarely do Easter eggs in zombies but this was simple to follow and straight to the point
