This story is dumb. If someone has a telescope pointed at your bedroom you cover the window with curtains. If said person comes to your door, you tell them they aren’t welcome and set up cameras. If said person gifts you things you mention in cafes you didn’t go to them with, you don’t accept them. You don’t befriend people like this. You don’t go to their home. You don’t let them in yours. If you don’t want to watch the whole thing, The man starts to bring over small gifts. it starts as just flowers and then chocolates and then a white box with a bow on it, the man says that they are in love and she cant separate it, then she goes to open the box and it is two frogs that he killed himself. The woman starts to feel sick and runs to the bathroom and throws up. OP then realizes she needs to go to the police but the police say “it’s not illegal to own a telescope” “we need actual proof” and she gets annoyed. she figures out that she needs information so she decides to act like she is his friend. she invited him over for coffee and he tried to hug her. her brother is in town so she told him to call her at 6 to get out of it. once it is 5:50 he wants to hug her again. she denies. she then catches him looking at her through the window while he is waiting for her to look back at him. she feels very disgusted and runs to the bathroom to get sick again. he then invites her over to watch a movie and she asks to go to the bathroom before she leaves to try to get in his bedroom which she thinks holds all the evidence. he then grabs her arm and twists it but then stops when he realized it is hurting her. he invited her over again to watch another movie and she brings over wine. she and the stalker keep drinking wine and he tries to move closer to her. she puts something in his drink when he isn’t looking that makes him feel tired. once he fell asleep she went straight to his bedroom which is always firmly shut. she finds out that the door is locked and has an interesting key hole. she looks for the key on him and only finds his wallet. she opened the wallet and it had they key in between the money. she goes back to the room and found all the evidence she had been needing and left immediately when he was sleeping. she goes to the police first thing in the morning and shows the proof. they said that they are so sorry that they didn’t listen and that they failed her. and she tells them all about everything that has happened with the frog and how she pretended to be friends with him. the man then got arrested. the woman now has trauma and gets scared every time someone knocks on her door because she thinks it’s him. she also has dating problems because of it. he has been charged 7 years in jail which also added on to the charges of him stalking his ex gf.

It is insane how close of a story this is to my own. Read if you want. I’m 17 and this kid on my track team the year prior had a HUGE crush on me. He was younger than me and not my type. A few times I tried to make it clear I didn’t feel the same. Sadly, he wasn’t super bright and didn’t get the memo, or maybe he did but didn’t take no for an answer. The next school year his crush came back. Anyways, all the time I would see him and it almost felt as if he followed me. He would be outside all my classes, he would walk home the way I drove home so he could see me one last time before the school day ended. I thought he just had a silly crush but no. A friend of mine that knew him called me one day and said “hey uhhh i just used *name*’s phone and went to look at some pictures he took of us. I found probably 300 pictures of you. Do you know about this?” When he told me I actually felt sick. I told him no and I felt his blood go cold from the other side of the phone. I went to the police but like the girl in the video, they did nothing because “i couldn’t go off a hunch”. Bullshit if you ask me. Because I couldn’t get proof because it was on his phone, for about a month I was being stalked. Also note: I have a boyfriend, and yes he talked to the kid. The kid denied any knowledge of this and said “wow that’s awful, I hope you find who is stalking her.” The thought of this makes me want to cry still. About a week later, I get a text. It is my friend and he has a picture of the kids phone with all the photos of me. And no, they weren’t good angles either. I brought it to the police and they arrested the kid. Apparently they also found a whole plot for him to try and MURDER my boyfriend. It sickens me to this day. The kids phone call was to me. His one call. I picked up thinking it was target bc I had applied for a job. His words were “I’ll be out soon and I will find you.” That was the last time I threw up. Please. If you have made it this far, NO MEANS NO. The kid is sentenced to 30+ years in prison and I have a restraining order filed. Thank you for reading if you made it this far 🫶
