Briar is literally the truest definition of an “All In” champion

I think a big part of why he spiked after getting Sterak, is that it gives 30% tenacity with the shield. Tenacity seems like the true stat that Briar should be stacking.

I really want to see her with every move speed item, especially because she has both ad and ap ratios I think it might be nuts.

I honestly think running both the Legend: Tenacity and Unflinching runes is an absolute must for her since she's way, way, waay too susceptible to CC, even more so than Master Yi who's got a rep for being easily shutdown even when ahead as long as you have stuns/snares/ taunts. But unlike Briar, let's not even mention the fact that he's immune to slows during Highlander, he still has ways of avoiding being hit by CC due to his Ults MS and Q Alpha Strike/Alpha Strike resets on kill or assist. Briar on the other hand has absolutely no ways of avoiding CC's, she single-mindedly runs on a straight line all the while not having full control over her when using W or Ult, she literally needs to be able to run it down to go online. Which why I think stacking as much tenacity as you can on her is extremely worthwhile, I'm also advocating that Silvermere Dawn should be a core item for her against CC heavy comps just so you have that extra safety net.

Hi Zwag, I think you could benefit from saving w until after you're ult beserk goes off because you'll be able to kill 2 targets instead of 1

As I've said on the previous videos, I wonder how Quickblades would work on her. I mean, she can't stop autoing without E, but Navori would bring her E back with the autos.

I feel like movement speed items and runes would be spectacular on her so she can outrun her prey and only champions with dashes can escape. Also some tenacity. I also actually think that mid Briar could be good, especially if you're laning vs a hard pusher. You could easily R to top or even jungle if your jungler invades or is invade-able.

Would be interesting to see an attack speed on hit build with this, especially with the bleed paired with BoRK and Guinsoo

I personally like how she can die really easy to turrets if you go without care. She is super strong, but it's extremely easy to mess up with her and get killed, so its a good counterbalance and room for errors or counterplay, because the enemy can plan and guide Briar to the turret and she can do nothing about it is she doesn't save E for it

I feel like you know exactly what I want to try on champs right when I want to see it. Freaking amazing and just as good as I was hoping for.

Briar loves Swifties. By far the best boots on her in general. She needs to get onto and stay on her targets. Helps get out of turret situations too. Her ult is a really good epic monster steal/engage tool too. AoE fear, hard to kill, can stun against walls, and you can still smite.

Infinity might actually be a good item for her. You get ad for passive, and I think her second activation of w counts as a crit meaning it is amped by crit damage. She also has a ton of ad and as meaning crit chance is pretty good on her. In fact, a crit ad build might be viable on her.

I'd love to see an attack speed Briar build! Fly in and instantly max AS with her buffs!

She has sooo much build potentials and one path I'm really thinking of trying is Phase Rush. She already gets so much ms from her kit and she's meant to constantly "run it down" so I'm really intrigued.

You have two ways of altering or ending the frenzy. When in W frenzy you can either Q a non-champion to make Briar not prioritize champions. The other way works for both W frenzy and R frenzy and that's casting E.

i feel like jak sho would be good on her too for the passive extra healing in combat

Hey zwag, love your videos have a fun build for Ksante full shields, barrier locket, fimble winter, steraks, stone plate, spirit visage or edge of night last item. With revitlize and shieldbash, makes him unkillable in ult

Heartsteel is fun but have you tried Iceborn Gauntlet? Not only does it reduce the damage of your prime target you are chasing, but also slows them, and for each item you gain more slow resistance and tenacity. I think this can totally work with a full Tenacity build while you can still build things like BotrK or Black Cleaver without loosing "tanky-ness".

I'm leaning more onto the lifesteal build you did for Briar. That build made her more resilient in 1 to many clashes.

i play briar top only and ive only lost few times compared to dozens of games, the trick with briar on lane is u need to know when to push, when the enemy moves past a certain line u can w them and berserker will run out before u reach tower

Btw did you check if you can use the morde necklace item the one that gets you out of mord R to cancel the W inting ?

Yo zwags I had An idea for the new champion with tower problems when u lock on champion u can use galeforce to like zoom out turrent and then use the items normally

a possible change for her is when in w her E is always off cd ... so u can use it whenever ur in frenzy... or mike that skill generally unavailable if not in frenzy but give her a passive that when killing an enemy while in w/r frenzy gives her stacks of bloodlust :D or when she didnt kill a champ for given time he gets bloodlust empowering her frenzy and when she gets a kill she looses the empowered frenzy after 10seconds (+5 seconds on additional kills) but gets stacks of AD/AS/MS when killing enemys while empowered by bloodlust :D

evenshroud can trigger from her q stun or radiant virtue because her healing amp. i think the best three items to rush would be rageblade then deaths dance then thornmail. tabis as the boots. i think deaths dance is interesting since the longer shes alive the higher she can stack her dmg and healing passive. the last items could be spirit visage and wits end

I wanna try silvermere dawn on Briar. They said the cleanse doesn’t work on her berserk, so she can keep the stats but it should allow her to get out of cc. Plus the bonus 50% speed on it will be funny

With the CC being so bad, it seems like merc treads and general tenacity is the play on Briar. Given her all in kit, do you think Chemtank would be a good pick here? Doesn't really help with tenacity but helps close the gap. I wonder if Zephyr would actually help. Movement speed, tenacity, attack speed (+stacking), all together might make up for not working with the other items. It's just a bit expensive and definitely not an item you'd get early, I don't know if it's really worth the trouble at that point.

Seems to have good split push potential. Go top with ghost and push as tank. She can dive any one champ that comes to stop and if they send two to stop you then ult to the other lane and 5 v 3.

I thought of running bork into jaksho to see how the durability is, i also think getting warmogs is a pretty good idea

27:45 I’m pretty sure the size gives the illusion of walking slow. Her stride is just longer.

You need to combo your Q with your E. If you Q them start charging E immediately so they can’t get out, typically by a wall to stun them into it.

They really should make it so her e resets on kill, or make it so she gets a different version of the skill while its on cd like if you get a kill youre able to activate it and gain damage reduction as well as being able to break you out of your berserk. Like getting a kill under turret and then just dying due to minions being around and unable to stop your berserk because you dont have e is waay too punishing and inty.

You could go, theoretically, titanic, spear of shojin, spirit visage(vs ap)-sterak's vs true damage-sunfire vs physical, then moonstone. Or heartsteel, titanic, spirit visage, redemption/the other not redemption redemption. That works.

tbh the tank build could've been way different cause briar has soo much 1 shot potential even with no ad items soo you can build like kraken(when squishies) or botrk(when tanks) and full tank build but instead of heartsteel you can go iceborn gauntlet or jak'sho

I feel like Briar is the Yasuo of the jungle. They always int on your team, but go 12/0 in the first 5 minutes of the game when they're against you.

She seems like a very deliberate assassin jungler. You can go in and delete one person but with everything used to secure the kill you are just left there with all abilities on cooldown and basic attacks

AS an explonker on brair. Heal and Shield power briar heals for like 70/80% health ANNND GA has a weird interaction (heal half base hp, x 1.5plus heal and shield power AKA 75% base hp). Its funny. But moonstone + full tank and spirit visage = like 70% or so per E. Go the CDR runes and items and BAM 4 or 5 second cooldown mundo R.

"What deleted my health?" oh idk maybe the zyra ult, the lux ult, and the jarvan ult and you still weren't 100% dead

I bet grudge and cleaver lets you stick to people. Maybe Glacial would help you land a full E as well.
