If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven. The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved. JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16 Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.' Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late. We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now... 'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my life. In Jesus name - Amen. 🎉🎉

Neither QRs nor thruaxles will instantly drop your wheel if they get a bit loose, QRs need quite a few turns until they don't hook in the dropouts anymore and I guess thru axles are threaded against wheel rotation (as all bike parts), so you'd have to be be badly sabotaged to have an issue like that.

a couple months ago I rode up a mountain on my ebike and then as I went back down this steep road I strapped on my camera to record how fast I was going. Went down with no helmet, casual clothing, on a bike I (at that point) had never cleaned or maintained for years, going 55kmh downhill free handed. It was cool in the moment but less cool when I saw that i almost died in multiple ways. and the camera stopped recording before I got downhill so I never even got the video.

@@wraith8323 tldr is I pulled just a bit too hard on the front break. Long story is I was going downhill quite fast on a concrete bicycle road. The road was somewhat wet but very leafy on the sides. There was a hairpin turn coming, which I knew about, but I also realized that there was an offroad "shortcut" just to cut the whole turn totally off. I decided I'm taking that but I guess it was way too close already, so I pulled the brakes more than I should've, front wheel locked up, slipped(or maybe because of the leaves). Next thing I see are my arms straight like superman except not horizontal but 45° towards the concrete, trying to stop myself flying.
