This cover is soooo good but man it has some really sad implications- Meiko getting the majority of the line distribution, including the final line which can be interpreted as about suicide, paints a really dark picture. Honestly that in tandem with the shot from the music video where all the girls are smiling but she seems more sad and distant implies to me that she helped the rest of MMJ overcome their issues, but couldn't escape her own depression...

i was shocked when i learned they decided to put this in the game at all, much less give it to mmj (though i'm super glad they did). it makes sense in retrospect that meiko gets a lot of the lines. every time i hear 0:52 i die a little inside :(

Honestly I don't see what other group it could've gone to. The style doesn't fit L/N, the lyrics are way too depressing for VBS and WxS [maybe not VBS but it still feels wrong for them to cover it] and weirdly too optimistic or sentimental at points for N25

In one part, she gets to say a line, let someone else say the next one, then say the next one but Haruka doesn’t get to do that (the part right before on the 2dmv where they are sometimes on the ceiling, it goes from Minori to Airi not Minori to Haruka bc Haruka got the line before even though meiko was able to get a line let someone else speak then get the next line in the part right before)

Maybe the reason is to cover up the lyrics that aren't meant to be sing by the mmj members, as each lyric that are given is to represent the character of each mmj member (if all of this make sense)
