Oh, those red stars and disruptive paint scheme! Lovely paint job. This is my favorite of the Soviet era jet fighters. Lovely plane. Despite its faults, I've always liked the organic blend of the LERX into the main wings. They have 2 early-production MiG-29s at the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton, OH. One of them is a MiG-29A that visited Finland in 1986 on an exchange tour where they tried to sell the plane to the Fins after demo'ing it. That plane has a light-gray camouflage paint job with a large, blue number 8 on the side of the intakes. It actually appeared in photos in an old book about the MiG-29 book written by aviation expert Jon Lake in the late 1980s. I still have a copy of it! The other MiG-29 on base is a two-seater UB model and it's not as in nice condition. I think it's kept outside one of the offices. I think both planes might have been acquired from Moldavia in the late 1990s, early 2000s. They were basket cases already and unflyable unless they had massive overhauls.

Ωραίο!!!!....Μπαρουτοκαπνισμένο!Οι εισαγωγές του κίτ κακές μέσα κι έξω και νόμιζα μόνο σε μένα έτυχαν έτσι!Τα χρώματά σου άψογα.Το σκούρο νόμιζα πως πρασινοφέρνει και πάλι έκανα μίξεις (MRP γιόκ τότε) με gunze και πάλι λάθος αποτέλεσμα όπως με το 33άρι (με τα ρώσικα έχω θέμα να κάνω σωστό χρώμα ρε γμτ,ειδικά όταν δεν έχω επιλογή MRP / AKAN).Το τσίπινγκ και οι σκουριές φοβερές....Άρτιο αποτέλεσμα για μάχιμο smt...Συγχαρητήρια Περικλή μου!Αναμένουμε το επόμενο....ΥΓ. Dope... but those lines of rust don't work.... The paint job doesn't look like it's brand new.... but it doesn't look old enough for rust to be peeking though.
