I respect Kofi, and I am sure both our Ghanaian brothers and sisters and African in the diaspora will have a great time in Cape Coast I also hope. That the local people in Cape Coast reap economic benefits in the form of jobs and business partnerships, I think I have to practice my Twi more. I thought I was getting pretty good until I tried to follow Kofi going at full speed in Twi!

Why do you keep on useing the word Abrofo,they are Africans , you as journalist should be well inform its disrespectful for you to use such word as abrofo with all due respect.
@kofiakon20205 жыл бұрын
They must change that word immediately and honour them with 3nuanom =brothers o Abusuanfo=family. Our words towards them should be warm welcoming not disunity. The same way if we disvalue our own efforts on world wide.

They are called Kormantse. Fante side, real Akan people. Same in Jamaica and Trinidad
@asanteakan705 жыл бұрын
Ruth Robert read the book the akan diaspora in the Americas, it breakdown where Akans went in detail. Kromantse didn’t mean they were from there, Europeans used the word for all Akans after where th castle was located. Mina and koromanti were words for slaves from the Gold Coast. Koromanti was more specific to Akans though.
