It might not seem like a big deal to the outside, but they have definitely had some emotional times in that household. And thou Chris shouldn't have made such a tasteless, joke on such a clearly sensitive subject in the first place, I can not believe Will walked up and slapped him like that. Full open hand slap at an award show. Then calmly walked back to his seat like a tough guy. That could have been settled with words someplace else. Or even if he just yelled what he yelled and just left it at that it would of been enough. But slapping a full grown man, on stage, in front of millions of people is just insane. I also feel a lot of the emotions he was showing during his speech were coming from the things he was dealing with at home and from the event that just happened. I think that slap was like a release of all that built up emotions and then he sobbed afterwards. I honestly don't think either one of them was in the right here. I think both have no class and no self control. Which you would think actors would have. It amazes me the reaction he still got from his speech and that he was even allowed to accept the award. Chris is innocent. Will smiths wife cheated on will and jada created a meeting talking about how and why she cheated on will. Mainly because “will didn’t love her enough”. When Chris said the joke, will found it funny at first but when he looked at his wife, her reaction was a look saying “do what I expect a man who loves me to do”. Yes, making fun of a woman because of her disease is mean, but it’s a comedian. That’s a comedians job, making dark humour. Sometimes even making racist jokes. I think Chris was doing a normal thing and will should’ve controlled his anger and not hit him. Should’ve just cursed him out or something.

What I have done it yeah I probably would, I didn't know the backstory about her hair but it makes more sense. However let's keep it 100 why he really hit him he was trying to regain the respect of the wife that doesn't want to be with him anymore it had very little to do with the joke. 1. Slow the video down and see Will LAUGHED at the joke 2. So many suffer from this myself included. 3. She opened the door for people to make jokes the SECOND she went and made jokes about it publicly on her own accounts etc. 4. I suffer from over 70 medical diagnosis, mental health issues, survived domestic violence, been sexually assaulted as a minor more times than I can count and I'd NEVER get a pass being violent toward anyone. Yes I have anger issues but just like my triggers are MY problem and I do all I need to in order to be a better person their behind the scenes issues are not for them to take out on everyone else. If it was ANYONE else they wouldn't have even made it to the stage and they certainly wouldn't have been allowed to stay and there would be no questions about if charges wanted to be pressed or not. They would've arrested them on the spot for the crime and used the video shown around the world as the evidence needed. Law enforcement can arrest you if they witness you committing a crime or they have evidence of it. Everyone wants to jump on the Jada band wagon about a medical issues so many people have especially people under severe stress. Just cause you put a fancy label on hair loss it doesn't make it special and it doesn't make that person special or give them more privelage than everyone else. These people have money and fame and people really think this is ok. Oh hell no - I am a woman, and I worry of age and hair loss. It was a harmless G.I. Jane joke. And trust me , son. If you have not seen G.I. Jane , you should - Demi Moore ( while not taken seriously by everyone - she got her due in Hollywood) was considered an extremely hot ticket at the time - and a beautiful woman who was considered a bad-ass who could take care of herself. Straight up- Jada looks absolutely beautiful with her hair the way it is now. Um she is to sick by the way. She has a condition, but Alopecia does not make one ill per se- It may affect her self image greatly and that is something we all go through in our own way. This is a very sensitive issue for many black women - and has been for a very long time - but seriously - I have witnessed the black community - men and women alike have some serious fun with each other about hair and wigs. I do not want to expound on this for too long so please do not ask where I have seen this. Yes - Will did laugh for a second, and so did Jada - then she got a shady on it for a second - Will went street - Some people suggest a stunt - and I wondered a little bit - but I don't think so - I am moving to the point that I am feeling that The Academy has to take some responsibility for this - Will Smith needs to be sanctioned in some way because of his behavior at the awards ceremony. I have been a fan of all three of them for a long time but Will needs to held accountable for this. And we need to look at this as it's own incident for what it is. I had no idea she had a condition, how is a guy preparing to host the Oscars and launching a tour going to be held accountable for knowing Jada’s personal medical information. Clearly Rock didn’t know. And clearly it didn’t even occur to Smith the impact of the joke on his wife until he looked at her. He thought it was about her haircut, like it was intended.
