I'm in tears. I just lost my son to incompetent cervix at 19 weeks just 40 days ago. I feel you sister 💔. I'm now fighting to get a TAC because non of the health care providers in my country would perform this procedure on me. They have to give me a vaginal cerclage first and wait and see whether I have a 2nd trimestre loss or have a preterm baby. As if any of these outcomes is tolerable. They have completely taken my voice away, my choice. I feel Devastated. I'm soo scared of what is happening to me. Plz pray for me. The lack of awareness of this procedure among health care professionals is just astonishing. Why take risks if there's something to be done about it ,why does any women have to go through something like that ever again. Plz pray for me.

Blessing! Bringing awareness and helping other women is the best way to heal. It doesn’t get easy, but I believe that God always surprise us. My ministry is to help other women... stay strong! Pray!

Thanks for this channel. I just had my second loss in january and looking into getting a TAC. Its difficult because I got pregnant using IVF so its been rough and I'm trying to get back to life.

Listening to your story pushes me to want to advocate for myself even more... I had a PPROM loss in August but was not diagnosed with Incompetent Cervix yet, but, I was 1cm dilated when I went into the hospital after my rupture. They want to do the wait and see approach in my next pregnancy but I am scared that I would have to get an emergency cerclage and it will fail and if I do not do the preventive cerclage I will lose another baby to PPROM. I am so scared, and I do not know what to do, but I believe getting the cerclage without “being diagnosed yet” is the best option for me.... like you said, I have to advocate for myself but I hope I am making the right decision! It’s so scary! And I wish I had doctors that gave me a diagnosis because it is scary that they have not and “do not know” and they are my doctors!

Thanks for sharing. The two angels just remind me my baby Boy. I suddenly went to labor and lost him when he was only 20w3days. Even his life is only 13 minutes outside my womb, he was still my first born son. Ethan was born on Mar032021. Due to COVID only my partner and myself to say goodbye to him at funeral home. A lot of people don’t even know we were pregnant since we were work from home. Since Ethanh supposed to be my rainbow baby after my first miscarriage at week 7-8.. we were nervous and didn’t tell family till week 19. We didn’t tell most of our friends.. I grieving alone at home and take personal leave.. will meet my OB doctor in May to find out what we can do for next try.

Sending love!! I also have an incompetent cervix. My first was on my son, we found out at the 20 week scan. I had an emergency cerclage, then 2 weeks later, my water broke. I had him at 24 weeks and spent 7 months in the NICU. He eventually went. The week before Luke went home, I found out I was 20 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby, and got another emergency cerclage. Luke was home for a week but passed away when he was 7 months old. I had my rainbow daughter at 32 weeks and stayed in the nicu for 2 days. Everyone said I should be happy that I had a healthy baby, but it’s not the same. Thanks for making this video for awareness!
