FULL YEAR EXTREME BEAR TENT CAMPING. FREEZING, SNOW, and SCAT

I live in one of the coldest places in Canada, and Canada is cold! These tents laugh at the cold. They are easily warm enough to handle -50. They are double-walled, fast to set up, and crazy warm. They can get up to 110 F with ease. I have been testing these tents out for a year and I have never once been disappointed. They never let me down and they are always a pleasure to camp in.
After a full year in the freezing, hot, and buggy wilderness, I can say that they pass the test. If I needed to stay in one for a long period of time as a means of survival, it would be a solid safe haven.

I've already commented but just had to say I'm a74 yr old girl who had the privilege of growing up in a small Northern Ontario mining town. We saw the most spectacular Northern Lights pretty much all winter and pretty much took them for granted being young. When I see them now on your show I realize just how privileged we were. Thanks for the memories young man. ❤

The most beautiful thing I've ever seen was when I was camping up in rural northeast Pennsylvania. I woke up about 2 in the morning, and went out of the tent to relieve myself. You could see the whole of the Milky Way galaxy and if that wasn't enough, there was a meteor shower going on. Hundred and hundreds of them, shooting across the sky. I brought out my sleeping bag, and lay there in awe watching, until I eventually fell asleep. Best nights sleep I've ever had. Seeing the northern lights in your video reminded me of it. I still dream about it sometimes.

Before i watch the video, i know for the fact that i will enjoy every minute of it. This channel is one of those channels that are rare to find, a channel that is both educational and experimental. i loved every video that is made, it is almost somewhat therapeutic just simply watching these videos. And i gotta say, i am very glad i found this channel and i'm very happy to see new videos being posted every week. Even long before you mentioned that you are somewhere in Canada but won't disclose your location of these videos, which is completely understandable. i just wanna say i recognized you were in Canada from these videos alone. its very nice and very calming to camp out in the woods, especially during the winter in Canada. i love the winter breeze, keep up the fantastic work, but please don't strain yourself trying to make a new video every week. it can be tiring but if you love what you do, then don't let me stop you from making these one of a kind videos

We had a small off grid cabin in the deep woods in MN. In all the 25 yrs I remember only had one break-in. My grandfather would not have known except for a small pane window broke in the back door. They left a note, everything spotless, and $40.00 for the can goods they ate, and to replace the window. Don’t remember the other details, but remember that. Most people are good people who enjoy the wilderness. Not surprised you have never had any problems.

I just got me of these tents. The UP 2 to be exact. I took your advice earlier and used the 2 x 4 to lift the hub up and pulled down on the pole. I have to tell you and everyone else, you have been the only person with one of these tents that tell it like it is. It is difficult to deploy the hubs. All other KZfaqrs start to get underneath to their tent to deploy it then they cut that part out and the next scene is a fully deployed tent. Lol. For me it’s a beast but doable. However extremely well made tent! Love it. Thank you for being who you are!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Interesting to see the difference between summer t-shirts and winter with multiple layers. Using the same tent in both circumstances, and the quick set up must be wonderful both for avoiding bugs in summer and not getting out of the cold in winter. Bonus points for the extensive poop review too. ;-) Can't say I see many other channels with that sort of 'educational' content.

This is what I like. People using modern technology to be comfortable in various conditions so that you can spend time enjoying nature and the environment. Whilst I do love watching guys make amazing shelters and dugouts, I think in some sense they miss out on the country and wildlife surrounding them until they have completed their task which can take months if not years.

If you can hang a clear plastic bag in front of your tent in the air with clear water it will get rid of the Flys around you and especially in your tent. Get the plastic bag like you scoop goldfish in, fill it with water, seal it and hang it up, maybe you could make a couple of tripods to hang them. You might try bottled water and they may work too! I've heard you can also put a few shinny pennies in a clear bag and it does the same! The bags of water definitely work, I know that for a fact!

That tent cost several thousand dollars not to mention the floor and his stove it's probably more than five grand easily!! When I was in the military we called it a pot belly stove I believe we ran ours on fule but our tent covered a whole platoon didn't mean it was warm it was our-30 degree below zero that kept us warm
@harrymills2770

$1900 for the tent, $360 for the floor, plus wood stove. I hear good things about the Caminus wood stove, but they're out of stock on the manufacturer's site. I think that in most conditions, you probably don't have to mess with any guy lines, but in high winds, I think the convenient pop-out walls can pop in, especially after many uses, as I imagine it softens up a bit with repeated use.
