Since the resurfacing of Heathcote Park Raceway, the track has been on point and only getting better. This is evident by how many personal best times have been run in the past few months. Sundays test and tune session saw many quick boosted 6s and V8s.

Congrats to Heathcote Raceway for the App giving out live timing ! Why cant the other big Government funded tracks do the same ? Lance and the crew are miracle works and I wish them every success 😊😊 The sky's the limit when you work your arse off and think outside the box CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆

Government only funded the building of those tracks and only partially, they don't run them lol They're run by people who are still stuck in the past unfortunately.

It only really only applies to newer cars ,apparently has to be above 130kw per tonne and that'll be based on factory power levels not aftermarket. I'd dare say it won't affect older cars, you'll find it'll likely only affect cars from 2022 onwards, it's usually how these things work. It's a dumb law, sure it's good for people buying actual high performance cars but if it's 130kw per ton it'll mean of some passenger cars will require the special license and any one who buys an ev, quite a lot of those ev's could cut 10 sec (teslas sub 10s) quarters with ease. It's also just another cop out law to avoid actually doing anything about road safety. Compulsory driving training on all drivers is the only way to make roads safety better but they won't do that cause it'll cost them money, this way they make money. Also they need to build safer roads and not just in the city's, rural roads are atrocious.

"Wat chew talking bout, Willis!!" I was running 12.60s @110 through the pipes and on T/A retreads, in my mild N/A street car VE Valiant 360 in 1986! 10 second street cars were around in the 80s!! Though rare and often Japanese cars with v8s in them, especially in Melbourne and Sydney. McCreary Tyres and NOS, turned up in the later 80s too.

@@kramrollin69 Street meets at surfers Paradise Raceway 13-14 seconds was average…. there was a small field of 12 second Street cars. Mostly naturally aspirated….. yeah then of course the turbos and nitrous kicked in……My last SLR 5000 was low 12’s on street tyres.
