Fully Automated Dust Collecting for Drill Press #3 / DIY

Finally, I completed the drill press automatic dust collection system.
All three videos produced so far are videos that introduce this system.
In Part 1, I made four automatic switches, and in Part 2, I fixed them to the wall and installed lighting, and the dust collector was linked to the movement of the automatic switch so that it could be operated.
In this third part, I connected a reed switch to a drill press and made a system in which the switch was automatically opened and the dust collector was activated when the lever for drill work was pulled.
I think I can focus only on the work without paying attention to dust collection when I work on the drill.
Since the switching line is made of jack, the dust collector can also be operated with a foot switch.
Sooner or later, I will make a total of 4 automatic opening and closing lines and install them on other equipment.
If you pay attention to installing the reed switch, I think it can be mounted on your drill press, too.

Thank you for those kind words. A limits switch has a simple structure, but when the load on the rod reaches a certain level, the switch itself no longer receives force and is a very well-made switch that absorbs the remaining force from the steel rod. It is a part that faithfully performs its role tens of thousands of times. Also, I designed it so that it can be replaced by unscrewing the screw.

Very nice, love it observation: the 90deg fittings are creating movement restriction. I wonder if 2x 45deg or elongated 90deg would improve me movement

I understand a bit that a 90 degree angle is unfavorable in fluid dynamics. It is true that there is a loss in suction power while making it pretty due to design. I overcame that with a strong dust collector. Thank you so much for your sincere words.
