In this video, I show you how to build my fully automatic potion brewing station. It works with up to 6 ingredients, starts and stops on its own and even comes with an optional shulker box replacer. Enjoy!

Thank you for the incredible tutorial! I have been collecting all combinations of trimmed netherite armor and did a LOT of netherite mining. Every night vision and fire resistance potion I used while mining was brewed by this beatiful machine :)

Works great! I built 16 in a U shape to make a potion room and opted to make the modules 3 wide to allow for hopper/rail input to distribute all the ingredients, glass bottles and blaze powder. I did run into an item order issue as some others have, specifically with netherwart coming in before gunpowder on some of the modules, causing those potions to not finish brewing. Due to the rail system I could not swap the order on some modules without interfering with the others that were already working. For anyone else with a set up like this, a simple solution that worked was to take the netherwart dropper on the end and instead of pointing it directly to the side into the hopper, point it out away from the brewer into an extra hopper that you can connect back to the hopper trail. This causes the netherwart to travel through two additional hoppers before getting to the rest of the ingredients which ensures it is always last. works like a charm and I don't need to change the way the materials come in. Thanks for the awesome compact auto-brewer!

Working perfectly on Java 1.19.2. If after following the turorial the thing simply doesn't start to brew just click on the brewing table, take the nether wart of and put it on again. As soon as you take the wart off the carrot will fall to the brewer, replace it with the wart and put the carrot in the hopper again.

Holy crap this is ingenius. I was myself working on an auto brewer that was 1 block thick but made it needlessly big by using a hopper timer instead of just using an first item as last. Nicely done I'll definetly be building this in my world.

I just built this brewing station (a few of them actually) this afternoon and it works great. The only issue I had was the shulker box gets replaced so quickly when you break it that it pushed the broken one under the filler hopper. I gave it a bit more delay by extending the observer chain that reads the comparator by one, and then added a repeater after the comparator, set to 4 ticks, over the upward-facing observer. Works like a charm, and now there's a bit of a delay after breaking the shulker box, giving you enough time to pick it up before the new one appears. Thanks for an elegant solution that works awesome.

Tried this out and at first, I was a bit upset because for some reason, only two bottles were getting filled at a time (still don't know why), but after relogging, it works perfectly! Posting this here in case anyone else has the same issue. Also as someone who is primarily a builder, I appreciate you going through the trouble of making sure it looks good from the outside!

IF YOU HAVE THE ISSUE WHERE IT ONLY BREWS 2 POTIONS read here. gonna be a detailed explanation cus yeah, First you have to turn the automatic brewer on and put the water bottle that went into the barrel or shulker box back into the brewing stand WHILE ITS BREWING. Then if you go to the repeater placed at 2:43 keep on clicking it till it goes back to 1 tick so you just do a full cycle. After that, it should work normally, make sure you do this while the machine is on. Thats it bye buy by Also you have to do this every time you turn the machine on 👋

for anyone having issues with bottles not working try replacing a piece of redstone while the machine is on it should reset and start making potions though it will put 2 of each ingredient so put it back to 1 and it will work

i got one problem with this machine i tried it in a multiplayer server at first it took 3 water bottles but later only 2 was in the stand and at last there were only 1 in the stand i have all the neccesary items fulled out

Hi, great design for potion brewing... I just wanna ask if there is a possibility that your redstone tweaks resource pack can be port to bedrock,,, I would love to have it in my own server but unfortunately I'm playing in bedrock edition...

Java 1.20.4 Works amazing even in a server! I'm saying that because sometimes redstone machines are in a broken state when you build it in a server... I made 4 modules to start pumping out potions so I could sell them at out mall because the server has an economy.

Why is it that when I do it on a server it just spits out water bottles at the speed of light. I double-checked the redstone and it was all correct but it just gave me a ton of water bottles

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out, but it seems to need the bottle dispensers to never have an empty slot, otherwise it picks up a water bottle instead of dispensing it into the hopper. So you either have to keep filling it up manually or add hoppers and chests to the design to feed it with bottles.

Yup, you're absolutely correct! That's why I pointed out specifically to fill every single slot. But since dispensers always choose a random slot it should last quite white a while even without refilling :D

I modified the system in such a way tat I can be filled by mine carts instead of the droppers. but the Item order will be rather messy. -You have to put the 3rd ingredient in the fist minecart slot, than the forth, fifth (sixth). Than the first and second ingredient.- ONLY put one of every ingredient into it! Modifications needed are rather minimal. - Instead double chest, You put an additional hopper facing into a barrel. - The minecart drops down after passing the additional hopper (where the double chest used to be). So one air block and a floating block to stop it overshooting are needed. - The output barrel is being removed. At this point there's an air block with a donward sloped detector-rail beneath. On the block before where the output barrel was, there's a downward sloped rail or power-rail. - The lowest redstone torch is observed by an observer which points into a sticky piston with a solid block sticking to it. As the sticky-piston is quasi-connected the observer is just there to brovid a block update to the piston. Why such a cumbersome way? I wanted to use a redcoder/button-selector-panel to select the potion and than let it brew automatically. An than sort it to a chest. but only use a single brewer because reasons.
