Same here. Campuses of all sizes and demographics. But yeh, you'll need cameras inside and outside 360° as surveillance. Some bad actors who get a kick out if destroying things good. Then you'll need to able to call the police or drive them directly to the station or closest cruiser.

You mean like the Morgantown system at West Virginia University which has been in operation for over 40 years. Despite how effective such systems have been, the resistance to PRT's in the transit community is immense. This particular product is trying to circumvent public transit bias through ride hailing apps and use public streets to circumvent the infrastructure cost of guided throughfares. Heathrow has a PRT system too. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgantown_Personal_Rapid_Transit en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ULTra_(rapid_transit)

When the car body of the box model is accelerating, it seems that the accumulator battery will consume a lot of fuel due to air resistance. In addition, when another car or object approaches (attack) and crashes in an accident, the glass surface is exposed to a lot of damage, so the wound will be more severe. It seems to be vulnerable to cold or heat. When you sit face to face, it can be uncomfortable if you don't know the other person.

@@kennethpalmestal7903 Another use case this might help with, the larger separate cabins could be ADA equipped for those with accessibility needs (wheelchairs). Another thing I really want autonomous ride-share companies to consider, those with accessibility who want to enjoy the same door-to-door freedom, independent of spotty public transportation (citing San Francisco only).

Outstanding!!! While ultimately this can be used all areas of a city. I could immediately see this become a standard at university campuses and airports.

This is excellent. Very exciting. This whole concept is revolutionary. Modular design - drive pack on both sides - LIDARs/cameras at each corner. Inviting, safe and simple design. I saw a lot of cabling in the assembly shots. Any reason they are not utilizing wireless sensors/actuators?

Here's an idea: Make them longer with more seats so they can hold lots of passengers and then have them stop at regular intervals around the city so that people with different destinations can get on and off. Using this "ride share" technique, you could reduce the price for each rider and attract more customers. It would also reduce to total number of vehicles on the road to improve traffic flow. Just an idea.
