@@f-2215 fuel efficiency is usually a problem with such designs. Even if it is EV, the vehicle has to combat air resistance ... Aerodynamics would do a better job. I'd wanna see their numbers.

@@KamleshMallick think they're primarily designed for high density urban areas. Not even sure if they can reach 75 mph? If they are intended for highways I'd imagine they'd utilise fleet "platooning" to make the pods more aero efficient. Similar to carriages on a train, but without a physical connection. To me the biggest issue is getting people to embrace shared mobility post Covid.

Another thing I really want autonomous ride-share companies to consider, those with accessibility who want to enjoy the same door-to-door freedom, independent of spotty public transportation (citing San Francisco only).
