ब्रह्मकमळ कधी फुलते?
वसंत ऋतूच्या उत्तरार्धात ते उन्हाळ्याच्या शेवटी फुलते; मोठे नमुने एका हंगामात अनेक फुलांचे पीक देऊ शकतात. फुलांना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी रोपांना थेट सूर्यप्रकाशात ठेवा. फुले फक्त एक दिवस टिकतात. ब्रह्मकमळ गुलाबी, पांढरा आणि कधी कधी जांभळा अशा रंगात येतो.

ब्रह्मकमळ कोणत्या देवाला अर्पण करावे?
अध्यात्मिक फूल म्हणून ओळखले जात असल्याने, हे बद्रीनाथ मंदिरात भगवान विष्णू आणि केदारनाथ मंदिरात भगवान शिव यांना अर्पण केले जाते. सप्टेंबर-बेर/ऑक्टोबरमध्ये, नंदा अष्टमीच्या उत्सवादरम्यान, मंदिरांमध्ये ब्रह्मकमळ अर्पण केले जाते आणि 'प्रसाद' म्हणून देखील वाटप केले जाते.

ब्रह्म कमळाचे फुल कसे असते?
कमळाची फुलं अनेक प्रकारची असतात. मात्र, त्यातील सर्वात दुर्मिळ आणि शुभ फुल असते म्हणजे ब्रह्मकमळाचे. ब्रह्मकमळाचे फुल वर्षातून एकदाच येते ते देखील अगदी चार ते पाच तासांसाठी. असं म्हणतात की जो व्यक्ती ब्रह्मकमळाचे फुल फुलताना पाहतो त्याचे भाग्य उजळते.
