That CO2 extinguisher looks really nice. The spray looks pretty tight and directed compared to newer models

Looking at the corrosion under the band it would probably fail a hydro anyway, you don't mess with CO2, they are like a missile when they pop and it's usually the refiller/hydro tester that gets injured or killed.

Interesting. I would keep it anyway. I thought that those companies that refill fire extinguishers could re-certify and refill it.

We have to follow NFPA 10 in our certification of fire extinguishers, which basically says this fire extinguisher is obsolete. Service companies do not have the ability to put UL listings on fire extinguishers, this is done at the manufacturer.
