I think the guy is an antique collector. The “on” radio is to keep the burglars out. It’s a way for outsiders to think someone is inside the house. Great find.

Apparently it should have been on talk radio instead of music tho! Lol

My grandparents did this. Though they left on a television, not the radio. Didn't matter what channel. The idea was to make people think someone is home.

@@cagirlinportland My Gram also left her radio on when she went out, although it was on talk radio. She lived in an apartment in the city (Chicago) & my uncle (her son) was a cop. He told us all to do it. Now, I leave the tv on but its for my lil weiner dog. Lol! Keeps her company while I'm gone. I usually leave on Animal Planet, unless the programming is gonna be about animals in distress. I know, sounds crazy, but we humans will do anything for our furry companions. 🤗😘🐕😁

Love this place, such a shame it's just going to go to waste. All those items you were calling puppets & china are called figurines here in the states. I use to have a extensive collection but over the years of moving around I only have a few now, which I will be leaving to my one & only granddaughter when my time comes to go home to God. I'm 70 so maybe hopefully I still have a good 10 or 15 years left. Watching your video's I feel like I'm right there with you exploring, thank you for taking us around the world with you. Be safe & keep exploring for us who can't.

The pictures of all the random framed women are from magazines and not "his" women, you can tell by the poses and paper they are printed on. :)

I just said, they came w/the frames! Lol! His place seemed so pristine & well decorated (all the little touches as the towels folded so nicely in the cabinets & the lil pink lampshades) that if it wasn't a women's touch, makes ya wonder about that "ladies man" story! Lol! Amazing find regardless.

Not puppets, there Alcohol Bottles, the heads have a cork! Man had a passion for collecting. Hunting cabins usually also have places for guns, Bows & Arrows, Fishing Poles... Looks more like a Masculine retreat! Decorative book more then reading books, and collections of Drinking stuff!!! Awards that are also more Decorative then display of what I have done!!! On the stove are kitchen measuring lead pewter cups. Not keys, match holder! Looks like a Writers cabin!

What an amazing place! So many beautiful and valuable antiques. The rooms were truly laid out to showcase all the beautiful antiques. I agree with others below that a lot, if not all, of the photos were from magazines or came with the frames and not real photographs. One thought that occurred to me after I had watched the video is that maybe the man was a well known antiques dealer and took his clients to this house for meetings. Actually, who knows. It was a wonderful explore. I could have stayed there for hours!! Thank you for taking me along.

I LOVED THIS EXPLORE! This guy was a man after my own heart. Our family motto is “ If you have more then two of something, it’s a collection! We all ban together to add to each others collections. Its sort of and enabling hoarder situation. Lol. Although I admired much of the objects this man collected I think the three birds figurine at the end of the video were my favorite.

What a treat! Explomo on a Monday. Wow- place was incredible, except for the animals 😢. Hopefully he gave the meat to some family that needed it. I wonder if he took up all the pics before he had a new one over. Too many Beautiful things. Especially liked the kitchen though - and that cabinet. He looked like he was a very neat person so I’m especially glad no one has gone in and ransacked. Wonderful explore. Please stay safe, don’t shake hands, wash your hands a lot and don’t forget about social distancing. Don’t want either of you guys getting sick. ~~~Your Virginia Granny

my goodness look at the details on the furnture speechless. the kitchen cabinets are awesome all the nick nacks are beautiful i just love that cottage.it's like entering a time capsule as it look's as the people haven't left at all and the artworks are so majestic and all the fine china is if it came out from century old time's.and when you walk into the cottage it's as though you walked back in time as if you were going sit and meet the them and join them for tea or coffee and talk about the day and plan out for hunting. and exploer into the adventure with him.the mug's on the fireplace were used to drink differant drinks like beer back in the 17th century and 18 to 1900's every time you guy's seek new places you are see history of lives that lived in each places how awesome is that.you guy's be so proud to see history and the live's that once lived walked slept in the places you find. you guy's are like time travelers all the furniture nick nacks paintings look like millions of dollars.and as i watch you guys i see passion for fine arts and fine decor. but i see commpassion for the people who onced lived in all the places you seek. guys well done bravo bravo bravah

Maureno and Remon, this is by far one of the best explorations you guys have done. Everything is left in perfect order, so many treasures, If the owner had a cleaner, you would think someone was living there. Truly a wonderful video. @18:50 was that a copy sculpture of this man's head? One thing I loved was the furniture, some of the ornaments. Just wondering you know how you buy a photo frame they come with a photo in it as a display, maybe he just bought photo frames with stunning women lol? One thing like you said Maureno those animal heads really made angry, hunt to eat, not for sport. By far your best video guys. Hugs from Australia xx Be safe 10/10

I believe you said that the house was abandoned for 5 years. Why is the electricity still on?
@weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars
@weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars 4 жыл бұрын
scott Langdon its done like that in Belgium, the government pay the electricity company a little amount so if someone becomes unemployed or suddenly in financial difficulties they still have electricity to cook food. I understand it's not enough to run a household on but going sparingly it's of great help. When the property becomes abandoned they're often not switched off. I learnt this from Bros of Decay who sometimes team up with explomo and are well worth a follow 😊 The oldest abandoned property with working electricity I've seen was 40 years abandoned!
