Something I learned a long time ago is if I'm working on something tall like your fummins I'll pull the valve stem cores and let the tires go flat. You can always air up tires after the project. If that isn't enough I'll jack the front up with a GOOD floor jack then take the front tires off and let the jack all the way down. I've also been known to hook up the backhoe to the front, pull the wheels then set it down flat on the ground. Whatever works. Just throwing some ideas out there for others to try. Great video as always Westen!!!

Steps to building a fummins. Step 1. watch these videos. Step 2. learn from the frustrations of the fummins videos. Step 3. build the engine with power mods before installing the engine, and accessories. Step 4. install and test engine/wiring without radiator Step 5. install radiators, intercooler, and fill A/C Step 6. profit, and lower frustrations. The OG steps of the video series Steps. 1-6 remove three engines, there is only two but for some reason I've forgot the industrial cummins is different. Step 7. got a oil pan and shortened my drive shaft (haha shaft). Step 8/9. install power mods with everything in the way. step 10. frustrations. Step 11. drive with loads of coal Step 12. install turbo for proper coal proportions per the Ft pound torque horse powa. Step 13. make this a youtube series. Good work on the build dude, very informative and good luck on the future builds.

@@masturone8257 Easier said than done on your own. He had to start somewhere which is what I was asking. Did he begin with his Dad or another relative or friend? That’s why I was asking about his background.
@masturone82572 жыл бұрын
@@alanholmes2366 yea I'm sure he studied his dad or grandad doing it and when he was big enough to try it he started practicing and then didn't give up when he made mistakes he learned from them. It's just parts you take apart then put together and if you get stumped you check out a manual online if its not in a manual then you make your own instructions. He not building motors or running machine shop. Most is doing basic work fitting motors (may need some cutting and welding) modifying wiring harness. He sends out anything that requires lubrication and uses a tune. He builds awesome stuff but it's as simple as just starting to do it.

@@alanholmes2366 dude I bet you could learn all this in a year or two. Start with some vids and if it's too expensive to buy a car to learn on and don't wanna be taking apart the one you drive then buy a small version of a car and start there like a dirtbike or even RC whatever has a motor and you build, rebuild, modify. Who knows if he had a dad that is me assuming cause in all his vids he only mentions his mom (he comes from money) so it may be just him and his friends showed each other growing up.
