I’m such a newbie and thrilled I came across your art. I keep wondering why no one who starts with gesso on the paper gets the consistent problem I have of the paper curling even though it is a rather thickish multimedia paper. Anxious to have my problem solved and many thanks!

Nobody has to see your art, so it really doesn't matter how it comes out, and it's only paper and paint, so it's not as if you're wasting precious materials if you don't like it. The important thing is to just do it, tap into your inner child and have fun putting colour on the page. Ignore that inner critic who wants to spoil your fun!

Can I ask, although I've been art journaling a few years I didn't realise how good the gouache was, what is the difference between it and ordinary white acrylic, thnx. Tfs xo

White Gouache is my new addiction! It's basically a very opaque watercolor. Very smooth and creamy. Thank you for subscribing! ❣
