I love the Sheetloads for using patterned papers and cut-aparts to make cards to donate. This sketch was a fun one. I had never really thought of using inks and cardstock with the sketch but of course you came up with a great way to adapt this to your style and supplies!

Here’s a story for you 😳. I loved this card design when I watched it last night and promptly went over and joined her You Tube channel and downloaded the pdf. Made a card this AM that turned out quite lovely. Only problem was the instructions I had downloaded just did **not** correspond to your card AT ALL -. So I used copy paper and “ eyeballed” yours and came up with measurements. I just discovered that I downloaded the JULY rather than June instructions. Now I won’t have to “wing it” when i make it again and it is a relief to know I hadn’t lost my mind! And it was actually a good exercise to have to come up with measurements myself!

Oh gosh! I wonder did you download the July Sheetload instructions instead of June? I used the June one and you should still be able to get it by going back to Alicia's June 1 Sheetload video. I'm sure both your cards are beautiful! Thanks for watching!

Don't worry about being messy. A true crafter ends up having ink on their hands and nails, and of course there is glue everywhere when they are done, even though we do our best to be neat. I'm not sure how some crafters hands look as if they have never touched ink before. It's a great card you made.

Your cards are awesome Ardyth! I love Alicia’s sheetloads. They are great for making multiples or using up scraps to make just a couple of cards. It would be fun to use your idea and combine patterned paper with cardstock scraps to make a really nice set of cards.
