There are lift kits for the X-Trail both T30 and T31. Pedders being the most well known how ever there are others and I would suggest a visit to the Aus forum or UK forum for more information. You will find the tried and tested lift is a max of 2" or 50mm to a stock suspension is most common although there are certain issues not least of which is the center of gravity. If you engineered the suspension and drive train you could go higher as has happened here.

It is the demo car for a workshop/garage called Roadhouse(in Japan). Most of the parts are sold under the brand "Kaddis", and can be purchased (with difficulty) on a select few international websites. Did they use a suspension lift kit for the cool Gray X Trail? And how high did they lift it? What tire size was also used for that gorgeous Gray X Trail? AWESOME !!!
