The Martini is the definition of a underated gun, a lot of people tend to go to the sparks for there 1 shot rifles, but Springfield and Martini really are very solid as well and deserve more love.

The biggest problem with the Springfield is its damage at range. You’re usually just better off with a Winfield.

I would say martini ironside feels a bit weird the way its animated, but tbh for the pricetag and the fact that it works 100% without traits its a very decent gun. I still prefer Martini reposte over it because of ammo split and ripost beeing very handy but martini in general is underrated in my opinion.

Martini-Henry Riposte is some big cheese... it just gets headshots going. And the bayonet is indeed handy.

hunt made the martini absolutely massive and i dont really get why when irl its like a stick with a breach on it, if you watch ForgottenWeapons video on it its tiny in his hands - im fine with the ironside blocking some of your view as a tradeoff, but it will basically entirely block you from watching 2 doors from the right side

@@wheeze5629 I don't know what Hartson device you've been looking at, but it's not substantially less chunky. It's certainly not "Tiny in his hands" - it's more than a fistful, and, just as in this game, the device at the feeding side is wider than the martini henry's receiver and *does* come up a substantial height higher than the back of the gun. It's always going to be a massive eyesight blocker.

Ironside is the long ammo gun that one can use without feeling bad. Hits like a truck, fast, good hipfire, and THAT FEELING when you hit someone. Incredible gun, loved it since they added it. Btw this is hand crossbow special, not Ironside vid :D

Ironside is awesome, cheaper than mosin/lebel bigger punch, even better on knocking downed hunters at range. If someone like martini, this gun is straight upgrade, the rate of fire is insane.

I call it the "Mixtape Henry" cause that box on the side looks like a casette recorder. I love that gun btw. I thought it was really strong when it came out and then Crytek even buffed it further. The gun is cheap, has long ammo, needs no traits at all and all that just for a slightly worse sight picture is totally worth it.

This guns slaps. Second highest damage to range ratio of any long ammo (after LRR). Cheap. High RoF, and needs no traits. No brainer. Most players dont constantly ADS anyway and just ADS once target is spotted, so the decreased visibility from the magazine isn't too much of an issue

9:30 beetle acts as an orange blip too, and for that spot there in prison itd work better if u had vault and jump separated so that way you arent jumping respectively the game will register ur trying to vault for something and wont mess up your movements

I'm not the biggest fan or the ironside. I already have trouble seeing people in game, and the side thing taking up a lot of the screen doesn't help. Martini in general is probably my favorite gun, though. Absolutely love the gun, especially the riposte.

My main problem with Ironside is my own experience in the game and my rusty brain. I was using usual Martini for years and I just CAN'T get used to it having more than 1 bullet, so after every shot I'm reloading reflexively >:(

Hey, off topic, but as a non native speaker I don’t understand why Neenoh is saying “they” when he mentions one particular player. It’s like a player and his character? Or it’s because we don’t know the real gender behind this person? But why not to use the character’s gender then? I watch only EU streamers (except Neenoh) and I never heard any of them used plural forms for one person, so I want to understand the nuances. Thanks!

The game is dark and sudden, it's easier to group an enemy hunter under a pronoun than examine them closely, this is a little different in teams where call-outs matter to help assists, but here they is just shorthand for "The current person".

As a native English speaker from America I tend to use they interchangeably with a specific pronoun for no reason whatsoever. Sometimes they just flows better. Idk.
