This song is nostalgic...on the screen you see kiss at the begining, bands and artists who shaped rock n roll. Basically a shout out to everyone in rock n roll

You are correct about the video behind them. As the song goes along they show great Classic Rock artists like Clapton, Zeppelin, The Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and others that paved the way for bands like KISS that came up in the next generation of bands.

Yes the same exact day, which means that his death became a footnote in and was mostly overlooked because Freddie Mercury became the focus of the media.

This song featured at the end of 'Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey' and was hinted that this track brought the whole world together in peace!! A fantastic song and Kiss added their magic to make it Epic!!!

Well, maybe at the time,it was implied to be the song that brought the world together. Now,there's the third movie, in which Bill and Ted get chewed out for slacking on writing the song,and, time is running out.

I love the 6:48 - 7:21 part. So emotional and so soft and just sounds so good. They've written a bunch of kickass hard rocking songs but they know how to make it softer and more emotional as well. This song is just a single proof of many

Reacting to the real video version would be awesome and yes Eric Carr died the same day and year as Freddie Mercury, he was my favorite KISS drummer, in the video you could see him play, at the time of the recording of the video he was really sick from his cancer, it was his last time with the band. Check this out please.

What a wonderful gift KISS fans got when this premiered. Sadly we didn't know it was the last song by Eric Carr and his final video. They slammed it out of the park with this one. I'm not sure what year this video is from. The studio version, from 1991, was filmed in an airplane hangar.

If you watch the music video you'll see the pain in Eric's face he was playing his heart out he had lung cancer and as far as i know this was the last day he could physical play

Kiss was great in the seventies, now they've became a farce of themselves with the exception of Ace and Peter, not to mention the lip synching and pre-recorded backup vocal tracks live, Paul and Gene have the biggest ego's in rock and it's a shame what they've turned into.
