Great ideas. I love to use EP in unique ways. I’m so glad you have Lila help you out. I’m disabled so my kids have to help me often. It has made them more compassionate and thoughtful. Kids who help grow up to be good people.

The tip about using a scraper to knock of embossing powder from the cardstock background when heat embossing recessed images is very helpful. I struggled with this technique because I found using a brush to remove stray ep quite tedious. Thank you.

I love that Lila is helping you, I’m so sorry about your shoulder I completely understand I have had my left arm immobilized for the last three weeks because of a shoulder issue so I feel you, it’s wonderful she is helping her mom that makes my heart happy. Oh my goodness, Jennifer!! I love the different ways you've used this technique! 👏🏻😍♥️😍👏🏻 I think what I love most of all is that with basic coloured cardstock and our variety of embossing mediums, we can stretch our supplies to do double duty! It's brilliant! ❣️👏🏻❣️ Thank you! And a BIG thank you to Lila for her help! 🤗😍😘 After dealing with Adhesive Capsulitis in my shoulder for over four months, I know how shoulder issues can limit our card making so I can truly appreciate how she's helping you! 💝

I have shoulder problems as well -- putting off surgery till absolutely necessary. My hubby did some die cutting for me last week and wondered if anyone else need help rolling the paper through - I'll tell him he's in good company since Lila helps you. She is so sweet as is my hubby.

This is ingenious! Used a folder I’ve had for a long time and gave it a go with clear sparkle on white. Turned out really well!

Thank you, THANK YOU for this!!!!! I was given a BUNCH of colored embossing powders a while ago & really didn’t know what to do with it! Also, you have my TOTAL empathy with your shoulder! Last year, I fell, broke my arm/shoulder & ended up with a shoulder replacement. I hope your problem can be resolved with some exercises! 😊❤️

I've got problems with both shoulders. Both could have surgery but I'm usually fine so can get away with no surgery. What the DR's don't tell you is that sleeping makes it worse if you don't allow your arms to be in a sling ( to sleep in!) or what I do is put a pillow on the side your shoulder hurts. Put your fore arm on the pillow. It has been such an eye opener that this simple thing keeps my shoulder from hurting. I think it is about how extended your arm gets when you lay down and the muscle or ligament that pulls from the shoulder . I'm sorry your hurting!

I love everything you do. Watching and listening to you for years, it is obvious you are a really good person and an amazing mom w a lot of faith. Thank you for all your examples especially after the birch press cards (they are so expensive. This is not negative as they are gorgeous. However it’s a fact, they cost a lot). I always love your videos-you teach us so clearly and repeatedly (which I definitely need) by using different materials or techniques. Thank you for taking the time each week to provide us wonderful content. I have a question, I use the Empress cutting machine-love it! But my plates get warped so quickly. The instruction manual suggested that I cut into the plate and not the rubber mat, but I notice you cut into the mat and so does Kristina Werner. Does that help preserve your plates or do you have a plate saving technique for the Empress like you do for the Gemini. Thank you in advance for your response.
