Nice paint job very much George and the Dragon. No body clips, but that's the question stay on or the clips scratch the paint.

Wow, awesome paint job Keith!! 👌 Great video Sir, can't believe that you had never driven a lunchbox before!!! They are slow, bouncy, have an awful turning radius,awful center of gravity, and spend most of their time upside down.... but they are such fun to drive mate!! There isn't a slipper on these rigs, they use the same diff as the hornet and grasshopper. You were probably getting slippage from the wheels spinning inside the rims after they got wet! I always lay down two elastic bands inside the rear wheel channels, this will stop the issue totally with mild brushed motor power. If you start putting anything seriously powerful through them though they will need to be glued. We have many lunchies on our fleet, torque tuned motors are a great match for them, and the stock Tamiya ESC is more than capable. If you want some real fun, upgrade to a hobby wing 1080 and a superstock bz and watch it fly!! Bearings, alloy body posts, chassis brace, dampers, high torque servo saver and 5th shock mod on the gearbox axle are all highly recommended! As is a 'basher' body shell to avoid destroying that gorgeous custom shell! 👍 👍 👍

Thanks for the great comment, yes it was the tires that were slipping in the rim, I did glue them. I do have the original body which I’m gonna paint and keep for bashing.

I don't think there's a slipper clutch on the lunch box Frank I haven't felt both of mine yet but I don't recall them ever having a slipper clutch cuz no one ever talks about one in one of these.

You are right that don't have a slipper clutch but I don't know why something was slipping so I have to take a look

I figured out what was wrong with it, I forgot to glue the tires they were sliding

@@TheTankRC if you don't glue the tires the crunch box is known for doing that the rims will spin inside the tire without latching onto the tire.
