This again brings back so many wonderful memories, we always walked through Catarina Park on a daily basis to see the beautiful gardens and the lovely feel of the park is magical, and the views looking onto the cruise ships and beyond are simply breathtaking, thank you so much for sharing your fantastic video with myself and fellow subscribers, very much appreciated ♥️👍

We stayed in a hotel in the Old Town last week and did this same walk. It’s a pleasant stroll with plenty of cafés to pop in for refreshment. 16:39 We stayed several times at the Pestana Carlton hotel but it isn’t what it used to be.

We did this walk so many times on our stay. Used to spend time just sitting in the park looking at the views. Interesting to see how the Savoy looks now it's completed. It was under construction when we were there. But out of our price range though. So looking forward to returning soon. Haven't been abroad since 2019. Nice vid.

Hi BroadSword 66, yes we've just returned from a 6 week visit and most days were warm and sunny, even Winter is pleasant in Madeira.

Quite so@@broadsword6650 we've spent January's there with cold floods and landslips, but more often than not sunshine ... and certainly a lot warmer and sunnier than blighty!!
