This was really helpful for me to understand the concept of functional and non-functional requirements.There are two types of requirements viz. Functional and Non-functional requirements. Functional Requirements These form the behavior of the product. Some examples of functional requirements are, New features Bug fixes New behavior Non-functional Requirements These are implicit expectations from the product. Since these are expected features and not specifically documented requirements, they are also known as ‘Quality Attributes’. Some examples of non-functional requirements are, Performance Reliability Error handling Ease of use Easy explanation of everything. thank you so much.

Only books which are still available can be borrowed. lt has to be able to handle at least 50 concurrent users with response tirnes no longer than 2000ms and we have to run the system on our existing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 infrastructure on Apache 2.4.7. Partner libraries should also be able to integrate our library service into their systems without having to use our user interface i.e., inter-library loan for books which we have and they do not shall be possible for the partner libraries.
