Functional cognitive disorders 101 today
FCD was a new term to me just a few years ago, and it was something I had definitely seen, but didn’t the name for. I am so thankful for the pioneering work of researchers and clinicians who are helping us understand.
And there is a great group in the UK who has published a lot of research in this area. In this live, I share some of their key articles including:
- What is functional cognitive disorder.
- How do you assess it and distinguish it from other cognitive dysfunction
- And how to treat it
In talking about treatment, I shared one of the visuals that our neuropsychologist uses in treatment (I am a big fan of visuals, you know)
