Three Rules to a Working Planner:
It has a place for projects, notes, and a daily top three
You carry it around with you and look at it throughout the day
You update it every day, every week, and every quarter
It's not the pages, but the process that makes a planner effective and functional.

This is really simple and helpful for the foundational elements of a functional planner.

Biggest problem for me is lots to do in multiple life areas and having to keep it small and portable so I can always use it. The small page sizes are too limiting but anything larger just won’t come with. The phone is even smaller so that’s no use either. Oh well. I end up running on memory most of the time.
