I’m preparing for a test and this video came in handy. You explain very well and your accent is very clear. I’m sorry if I’m being annoying but I would like to correct you… the English language is not one of the languages with the most words. As an example, the Portuguese language has twice as many words as the English language. Well done with your videos.

This is not annoying, but the start of a fascinating discussion. It all depends on how you measure the number of words, is it by dictionary entries, or by headwords with all modulations counting as the same headword. There are numerous ways, each coming out with different ideas, some say Portuguese, but another list puts Korean at number 1 with Portuguese not in the top 5. In both of these lists, English is in the top 3. My comment may have been inexact and open to dispute, but if you take it in the rhetorical manner it was intended it gets the point across. It clearly engaged you so it fulfilled my intention. Thanks for your feedback and I wish you every success in your upcoming test.

Hi, I have made a video about Language devices. I organise them differently from DAFOREST and called it CLIP notes. CLIP stands for Content, Language, Imagery and Pronunciation. See if that helps you.

Whether you are for or against, you should be able to back up your opinion with strong argumentation. This video tells you how to build an argument: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rZ6qocd7rbO1gJ8.html

You are definitely an Ex- teacher. Your too funny, did you teach RS? A lot of references to religion. I enjoyed your video and will definitely include in my teaching.

Hi, thanks (assuming ex here is short for excellent in keeping with the tone of your message and not a suffix meaning former which would be a little more concerning). I have never taught RE or RS, but my highest qualification so far is in theology so that does tend to bleed into my videos. I'm glad you enjoyed my videos and I invite you to look at some of the ones I've made especially for teachers.

Thank you so much for the very useful video. What kind of sentence is my comment 👆😉
@oaktreeenglish8338

You sentence is a imprecation of gratitude to which I respond with a similar one. Thank you for your comment. The subject 'I' is implied as you start with the verb 'thank'. This is the same structure as is seen in imperative formulations.

Hi Taylor, thanks for your comment. The video I made for language devices is called CLIP notes. I organise them in rough groups of Content, Language, Imagery and Pronunciation. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Yes, "an" is the indefinite article and is the same as "a" but used before a vowel to aid pronunciation. I hope this helps.

Would that I could. I have tried "playing it straight" but my personality reacts against it. Sorry. I have found that there are other similar videos with teachers who are more serious than me. I hope one of these will help you.

This video cannot be watched with headphones. Sudden shouting will damage the eardrums of the listener. I can't finish watching the video because of this. I am not exaggerating to say that my ears hurt now!
@oaktreeenglish8338

Sorry about that, I think it's a PowerPoint thing. Later videos seem to have resolved it to some extent. I would say I'm better in the classroom, but my students would differ with me on that. I hope your ears recover soon.
