Hi! Welcome back to RBT Exam Review. Today we are reviewing functions of behavior in applied behavior analysis. Behavior functions includes social attention, tangible, escape and avoidance, and automatic/sensory. You will need to know the function of behavior to treat the behavior. A functional behavior assessment (FBA) can assist in identifying the function. RBTs and BCBAs need to know these terms for the RBT exam and the BCBA exam.
