My preferred army is the one that uses the best relic pistol. If only I knew which one as best. Top 10 relic pistols when?

I like armies that can respond to a changing situation on the battlefield. I'm no competitive but i remember playing necrons in 8th as my first army and my opponents were picking apart my slow and predictable horde of infantry. I was annoyed because it was so easy to outplay me. Then i went for thousand sons and their ability to cast psychic powers, their use of cabal points, stratagems and relics to manipulate the battlefield is just awesome. They're a lot harder to predict and you aren't just watching your stuff dying, you can change the situation a lot better. But as i said i'm more casual

Would be cool if you went over each faction playstyle as well

I only just realised I love 'smoke and mirrors' where I want to make it very hard for my opponent to use his resources well. By movement, buffs or luck shenanigans

I love me some combined arms. Funnily enough, Tau do this so well.

Me, ~15 years old, about to choose army back when 3rd edition was still fresh. The most pressing question and vital part when choosing army: Which box contains most models for the price? (Was about to start orks that got 16 boys in a box, but then noticed catachan jungle fighters where 20 in each box*!) *Accounting for inflation, the price back then is basically same that you now pay for 10 guardsmen...

TBH, right now, play Tau, Eldar, Tyranids, or Custodes, unless you want be tabled each game. I don't care what your favorite StarCraft force is. It's irrelevant.
