Fundamentals of Transformer Commissioning and Maintenance Testing

There are several electrical tests that can be done on transformers as part of commissioning and regular maintenance. To be able to carry out these tests properly, it is important to develop a basic understanding of transformers.
This webinar will cover the topic of transformers instead of focusing on individual tests. Starting with the basic theory behind the operation of a transformer, the webinar will provide knowledge on the critical components that make up a transformer. It will briefly cover the manufacturing process before tackling the electrical testing that is typically done on transformers.

Good pres , but I think you get wrong @ 24:40 you said that aluminum is used in smaller transformers, but I think it’s the opposite, copper is used in smaller transformers and aluminum is used in bigger transformers because it’s lighter
