Again, another video showing that a good teacher can deliver high quality information in a short amount of time. Spent 4 weeks and multiple clinicians at medical school to try and teach this skill, none of them were as succinct and easy to follow as this video.

fundoscopy/opthalmoscopy is difficult in undilate pupils but easier in case of dilated pupils,the fact is indicative to অপথালমোস্কোপি/ফান্ডোস্কোপি after death is more appropriate, as it is noted in "determining retinal changes" after death

Has using the skit lamp eliminated the use of this piece of equipment?

Not necessarily. If a patient is able to be appropriately positioned in a slit lamp it is certainly preferred, however, non-ambulatory patients may require examination from a supine position in which case a direct ophthalmoscope would prove useful. In an ophthalmological specific practice it is not often utilized (in my experience)
