Those two individuals are very talented and I am very glad they have the recognition that they do. That being said, you definitely deserve more popularity as you have skill and humor that compliment each other very well. And hey, we all love the Germans! I recommend you try Shape of Daspair, their first and last albums are solid. Last one maybe a little bit boring but still has a nice atmosphere

I recommend you listen to some bands like Funeral, Until Death Overtakes Me, Lethargy of Death, Abyssmal Sorrow(a blackened funeral doom metal band), Aphonic Threnody, Solemn They Await, Fecund Betrayal, Corvus Corone, Dauðaró, Horre, Slow, Remembrance, Funeris, Thergothon, etc...

There are many nice bands in this genre that I didn't mention

Actually that is perfect a band called bell witch actually only has a bass player and drummer who do all the vocals from clean/harsh and occasionally used keyboards and even organ. I believe they either use distortion or fuzz on the bass which makes it easy to mistake it for guitar don’t quote me on that though.

There's Funeral, of course, Thergothon, Evoken, Ea, Ahab, Mournful Congregation, Loss, Usnea, Lycus, HellLight... Some of this bands might not be Funeral Doom, purely, but are some of the bands I really enjoyed. Swallow the Sun realesed a triple album, three different styles, one was a Funeral Doomish and I really love it. Anyway, remembered more than I thought I would. Will now give a listen to some Funeral Doom. :p

A black cloak is a really nice and suitable clothing for doom metal, especially for funeral doom metal and drone doom metal. And maybe for doom-death metal, I think it can be suitable.

You know, it's about a funeral, it means you are singing for someone dead and you have to have a suitable appearance and a doomed one.

Try Monotony Fields by Shape of Despair or any Mournful Congregation album. All the funny stereotypes about Funeral Doom in this video are present in them to some extent but they all actually sound pretty damn good and the bleak and melancholy atmosphere is truly unmatched by other "depressing" music genres.

The latest Bell Witch album is also pretty great.

Wow thank you very much! I wrote this song before I started to record the video. In fact it was written down in about 20 minutes and to be honest, I was really surprised how nice the final product was. Is there a band that sounds like this? I don't know. May sound a little awkward, but the only Funeral Doom band I know is "Nortt" from Denmark. Maybe you should listen to the album "Galgenfrist". But as I remember they use synth as well. Farvann Skepticism, Evoken, Mournful congregation, Frowning. This song sounds most like Frowning in my opinion, which is also a one man band :) try murdered by grief for a similar song.
