I've been listening music since I Was 8 years old! There isn't a single day that I'm not discovering amazing artist. Specially metal music. One of the greatest genre. 🤘

Im the same. I mean, every day i listen to new bands, i dont just settle for a handful of bands. Im always searching. And Funeral has been in my playlists for years! Some bands i dont keep, some i do. This is one of those i will always keep at the ready. Amazing band.

It has a folksy vibe in it, especially in the singing format. But I guess they always had folk elements, only this time it sounds epic and not suicidal.

Damn, I was in the middle of writing a post that I loved the music, but didn't enjoyed the cleans. And then he went all GROWL!!!! This for some reason reminds me of "wildhoney" era tiamat.

Not a funeral doom to me. Good track but it sounds like slower In Vain. Solid song but I just dont feel that doomed, desperate gloom like in their previous albums.

2021 has been a lousy year for metal and funeral doom and this doesn't help. Great production and sound but vocals are no good and music has no relationship whatsoever anymore to the brilliant first few albums with Einar and Christian.
