Fungus on Driftwood. The Story of Fungus Log.

5 жыл бұрынThe Mopani driftwood in our 40 gallon planted quarantine tank was initially covered with a white fungus growth. The pond snails, nerite snails and competing algae have cleaned most of it up. Also, trying to get use to appearing on camera.

A good educational video mate, I had fungus issue with my tank and it was like white flakes floating in the water. It went away after few water changes. Like you said it is not harmful to fish as long as you know the cause of it. Sometimes excess food can cause it too which must be managed.

Yeah, once the plants got more established and the snails started munching it got under control.

I saw your video and only kept changing the water. Didn’t take out the driftwood. Did all the things you said. My beta is dead today 😢 I should have removed the betta and moved it into a bowl until the fungus issue was resolved. He had dinner last night and was fine. Today morning all dead and covered in the white fungus

Locktite crazy glue works great for attaching plants to wood or rock. I used it for my Annubius. Quick and easy

I have a piece of driftwood that is partially submerged. The part out of the water has an orange fungus on it. Am I going to die?
