You obviously aren't Funkadelic fans. The artist in the diaper, cowbells and any object that can make sounds are always in their music. There are up to 50 members in Parliament Funkadelic. One of their sayings is "free your mind your ass will follow ".

I loved when you said "I don't know" great reaction, your a beautiful couple, awesome smiles. I followed George Clinton's P-Funk career because they were different, but talented. For their song Mothership Connection, he had a mothership constructed for the concerts, which now can be seem in the Smithsonian Institute of African American History. In many of their songs, there are double meaning to the lyrics, and the outfits represent an era of time. Maybe the diaper doesn't, but gosh even today, many artists have come on stage, or to award shows with some pretty crazy outfits. Anyway, I saw their concert in 1979, one of the best !!!

Starchild (Gary Snider) on lead guitar and the one wearing the diaper (RIP). Parliament Funkadelic, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, rated as the not just the #1 funk band in music history but also the #1 music band ever in the history of music and the #2 ranked band ever on Earth by Rolling Stone Magazine. Parliament Funkadelic - the baddest MF'ers ever! Nobody is better. The best band to ever do it and there would be no funk bands or rap music of any kind without the funk songs, lyrics, hooks and samplings of Parliament Funkadelic and the greatness of their superior musicianship. No Dr. Dre, no Diddy, no Master P, no Russell Simmons, no Tupac, no Biggie Smalls, no Snoop Dogg, no Drake, no Jay Z or Beyonce....none of them without George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell (RIP) and Parliament Funkadelic. They created all of it and their music is in everybody's else's 🎶music and who do the music greats come to to get what they need to keep making those mega monster hits? Parliament Funkadelic. If Prince was still alive, he would tell you that's exactly where he got 99% of his from. Respect!

I'm not really sure where you folks are from what time nor what small corner of the world but this is a real group with real musicians playing real instruments this is Parliament Funkadelic it is responsible More Sample songs that you would listen to rap than any other group if you had ever had the pleasure to go to a concert you would know that once they start playing they don't stop playing until the concert is over they just switch out members of the band eyewitness one concert with everybody except for Gary walked on and walked off the stage at the end of the concert is diaper nearly hung down between his knees and ankles totally soaked... Concerts and fun to watch but find the album and listen

The guitar solo you hear Michael Hampton play live is a the same solo (for the most part) as on record. What you hear at the end is a Segway sequence of music to go to the next song. PFunk live took you on a musical journey. That bit of music is used as a bridge to the next song.

1st off, they were playing knee deep then, when they were singing "fly come fly", the song was mixed with bootsy's rubberband's "rubber duckie", off of bootsy's 2nd album, "ahh, the name is bootsy baby!" and the last little bit was the intro 2 the song "disco to go", by pfunk girl group, the brides of funkenstein, on their 1975 release: "funk or walk."

I've been a funkateer since the mid 70's. My kids sid mom why u put them on every CD u make. I was such a fan for flashlight the DJ automatically started playing flashlight when I'd walk in this one club back in 79. My husband saw them in concert in 77 or 78 he said everybody was so high. All you had to do to get high was breathe lol. I finally got to see them live when I turned 60. My 30 yr old daughter was jamming as hard as me. I almost lost my mind. Diaper man R.I.P had passed on.

The part of knee deep that you guys didn't understand towards the end after the guitar solo was what you call a Segway into the next song. fly won't you come fly and then they did a little bit of I think the brides of funkenstein ? I forget the name of the song they used from the brides . But they did play knee deep in its entirety. just a Segway thing you guys didn't know what was going on. when we play in bands we call that the arrangement or the Segway into another song so the music just doesn't stop.we play a little Segway and then we are into the next song.
