Crazy how a little Jazz can make such a beautiful Hip Hop beat. The sample was so subtle too. How he thought to put that "Together"...Incredible!

the time near the middle of the 1990s when jazz samples and interpolations were the preferred sound is probably my favorite era in hip-hop, 1994 was probably the best. some people have continued on with the sound of course but it was at the forefront of what was being pushed to the mainstream.

Yeah and Buckwild was on a roll around this time. 94,95 his best years. The "I like it" remix for Grand Puba and "Hip to the Game" remix for Lord Finesse came out around this time too.. This is his best thought. One of my favorite remixes of all time just behind the Extra P remix of "Resurrection" for Common Sense. This was such a good time for hiphop and damn do I miss it.
