i see that most people are talking about how pico's fucked now, but even tho i think there is a higher chance of dearest winning, didnt someone say that everytime someone who's infected gets uncorrupted, then recorrupted, they get even STRONGER? that being the reason of why CBF was so dangerous even tho he's just a guy, since pico and darnell uncorrupted him like, 3 times on their week alone, and considering that we still dont know if mearest appearing will do the same effect as aways, its a harder battle then i feel that people are expecting tho we can also expect BF to escape (or just fucking die) in his mind, since the timeline of events would be something like: Reminecense (BF day one) happens at the same time as Regenade throttle (BF day 2) happens at the same time as Opening act (DD day 1) so we could assume day 3 happening while THIS song, meaning that when day 3 starts, BF could be able to run to the action to help Dearest, with ofc some delay or unexpected things happening, so dearest COULD actually win easily but we also havent seen GF or Nene in a while.. they could either help Pico or fuck BF up, or even darnell basically, *got no fucking idea of whats goin' on*

This episode was really interesting. DD is now officially a character you should be afraid of. Seriously, he was really strong in both this day and day 1. That fakeout was also impressive. The cutscenes are really nice too. I love Pico's voice actor. Great job

Prediction for the actual Finale: I think Daddy dearest actually won’t be alone. I have a feeling Boyfriend will overpower the corrupted soul bf and escape. Leading a Full power DD and BF tag-team vs The corruption. Either way Lemonade over here was scared of whatever “this outcome” is.

Y'know, I'm trying my absolute hardest not to freak tf out over this episode over how good it is, like BROOOOOOO that end part almost had me jumping in excitement 😭Genuinely one of the best, if not, the best Corruption take episode I have ever seen, and this is only *Day 2.* Just imagine Day 3. Anyways, let's get on with the casual analysis/theories section. _// ANALYSIS //_ 0:00 - The song begins. Daddy Dearest is slightly more corrupted than we last saw him in Opening Act, however, it's not just him that took some damage. Pico is now slightly uncorrupted, with his eye somehow being visible. It's surprising, really, I didn't really think Pico would uncorrupt _this_ much. Also, keep in mind that the stage walls are still the same as they were at the end of Opening Act. 0:25 - Pico instantly recorrupts his eye as he begins singing, I feel like this proves his sheer power alone. DD's poses are now more exaggerated, likely showing that he's trying harder. There's another detail that I've also noticed right off the bat: The notes. Not only have they been updated in general, but Pico's notes are actually different than DD's, they're almost corrupted. DD's icons now show that he's a bit more concerned and serious about the situation, with his losing icon showing him with red eyes instead of the usual yellow in the icons. 1:11 - Pico fully recorrupts, and the camera zooms outward, we now get a full view of the stage. The wall behind Pico and DD has cracked significantly more, and not only that, but the stage floor itself is now breaking apart and tearing. Corruption blood has seeped its way into the stage, along with the stage lights turning a shade of red. And finally, other parts of the wall have cracked open to show that some corrupteds have turned up, and are ready for the finale. DD has corrupted slightly more, and his normal icon has changed to show him with red eyes by default, this obviously means he's using way more power. DD's winning icon also shows him.. laughing? That's pretty funny ngl. 1:13 Now, I want you to take a close look to the open section of wall to the far right. Yep, thats right. Skid and Pump have *OFFICIALLY* made their first appearance since the end of Chapter 3 WOOOOO!!! So that's where they've been.. Also, I don't think there's any other familiar corrupted face in that group, like GF or Nene, I think we'll have to wait for the finale. Also, remember how I said Pico's notes were a bit uncorrupted? Well, they're fully corrupted now. 1:58 - The *STAGE LIGHT BLAST!* has returned. Beatboxing ensues. I don't think anything else changes in this part, sooooo yeah. 2:33 - Here's an interesting one. DD starts to corrupt more, the turns between the two in the song seeming more frantic and fast-paced. His icon shows him being more concerned. The song sound like it's picking up the pace, until.. 2:48 - DD's eye glow shuts off. He's more corrupted, and he seems sad, with his animations showing him shaking. You might think that DD was being genuine about this, and that he was actually about to give up, but no. It was confirmed that this was a fakeout by DD, in his attempt to throw Pico off. This is the reason why Pico decides to shoot at DD shortly after this. 3:32 - As the song slowly picks up the speed, DD's eye glow comes back, and in a different color... (I have a feeling this is just him charging up his power.) DD begins uncorrupting more, and fast. 3:51 - Pico starts to actually shoot at DD, however, this doesn't go too well for Pico, and DD simply blocks them with COMPLETE ease, and with his hands too, what a badass. You'd think Pico would have learned his lesson before Opening Act, when he tried to shoot DD in the head, he's just a dumbass ig. The fire effect we saw in OA also makes a comeback here. 4:30 - (At this point, I thought that the screen would stay black, and it would just show the usual "big red glowy eyes for a single frame" we see in a lot of Corruption takes, but boy was I SO FUCKING wrong, holy shit.) Daddy Dearest closes his eyes, drops his microphone, and looks back up. He is *DONE* with Pico's shit. He grows much larger, grows _horns_, and actually starts to change his entire form, wtf?? (These horns also look more detailed and curved, almost goat-like, unlike MM and GF's.) We see a singular frame of how DD looks now (4:38), and MAN does he look pissed. His beard also seems to have grown, too? I'm not too sure on that one. 4:44 - Ah, the cutscene section, my beloved. Welcome to our first ACTUAL, FULL, appearance of how Monster looks. He's donning his brown fedora, along with a brown trench coat (W fit tbh). He speaks about how he thought about the chance of DD doing _this_, and that if he did do.. "this", then they'd have a greater risk of losing. Monster is also feeling afraid about the situation, and rightfully so, lmao. 5:46 - We've got quite a bit to dissect here. DD's transformation is happening offscreen, but we still get to see the effects of it. The walls almost BREAK under this extreme pressure, the wind almost blows Pico backward, with him taking a look of concern before smiling. He laughs maniacally, with his cocky ass saying he was waiting for a 'real fight'. Bro, Pico is LITERALLY cooked, I don't know why he's this confident (I'll go deeper into this in the theories). Now, I noticed right away that Pico's little Spirit eye he's got going on there is shining a bit more, and almost glitching him too? (5:52) I know he's glitching because you can see a change in his text at that exact part. Some letters in the "FINALLY" switch to different characters, with some saying "NUL". As the cutscene draws to a close, DD looms over Pico, eyes shining and all. Really reminds me of GF and MM in Null D1, and if that's the case, then Pico is in for an ass-whooping. (6:13 - hey, look, there I am!!!!!!!!) Theories/Theory: Well, lets crack on with this, now, shall we? I'll start with the whole DD Day 3 situation here. So, we've seen DD's form change, we've seen a hint at something about to happen to Pico's eye, and we're about to have the true Deathmatch of Insanity. There's a lot going on here. Seeing that Skid and Pump were in the bg of this, and that nobody else has made an appearance here (Darnell, MM, GF, etc.), I think it's safe to assume that _everything_ is going to happen in Day 3. I'm also pretty sure it's obvious that Pico is NOT winning this alone. If he got blown backward by simply the gale force winds of DD's transformation, then he is not going to be able to handle the form itself. The only ones that I think would be capable of matching, or coming close to DD's power now, are MM, who keep in mind, is Insane now, and possibly GF. Even then, they will still need everyone they've got, which I think is a 6v1 now? I could be wrong. As for Pico's Spirit eye, that is DEFINITELY going to come into play in D3. We've been hinted toward this since Chapter 2, and the eye, or should I say, _Spirit_ not doing anything in D3 would be pointless. For BF Day 3's theories, I think I'll save that for the actual episode, besides, I've got none. What I do know is that if BF uncorrupts successfully, he's going to be fashionably late to the party. Speaking of people fashionably late to parties, I feel like I've got a theory about where Darnell is, or could be. Seeing that he hasn't turned up yet, despite many of us believing so, I think the devs are planning something special for him, and possibly BF. My theory is that in D3, as Monster presumably watches over the battle, Darnell would arrive where Monster is, the mall. Darnell could do a sneak attack type thing, and attack Monster, but idk if that would go well for him. What I'm trying to say is, the magic ball Monster has could be a key item here. I think that perhaps, if it gets destroyed, something crucial would happen to the Corruption. Note that Monster uses the ball to contact, view, and control people's battles using it. If he lost it, or didn't have access to it anymore, then that would be detrimental for him. Now, if Darnell does a sneak attack and destroys the ball (im speaking out of my ass at this point but whatever), then that could be the real reason for his uncorruption. There's no way Darnell *wouldn't* have a key role by this point, especially with how close we are to the end of the story. Are we actually close to the end, though? Because there could always be more chapters after this. I think it's just a 'we'll have to see' sort of case. Now, about the episode itself. MAN I have so much to say here, but ngl I've already written a whole essay so I'll keep it somewhat short. I'm gonna start with the song, Nightfall. This is not your average Apparition song, in fact, I think this is one of my favorite songs in the mod now. Some parts in the song have SO much suspense, and I just FUCKING LOVE THAT. Like the part here, 1:58-2:44, just sounds GODLY with how the instrumental sounds. There's so much more I could say about the song, but it's just so much, lol. I'm seeing that the sprite quality has improved a ton, as well. It might be a Day 2, but it's a GREAT Day 2. And it's not just the sprite art that has improved so much, just look at this cutscene. Is this the first animated cutscene we have ever gotten in Insanity? If so, that might be why it's so amazing, it's because it hits so different than the others. This new Interlude/fanart song is absolutely incredible, too. It leaves you excited after what just happened in the episode, it's truly insane. Well, I think we can all agree on something here: If the Day 2 is THIS good, just imagine how Day 3 will be. -totally not gonna write a comment 3x as long on both Day 3s trust-

Predicting things ahead of time: I think Dearest is going to start uncorrupted/barely corrupted, but someone will show up and tag team with Pico like BF/Mearest. I can’t imagine Gingerfuck: Spirit Flavored can take down DD on his own. I stand corrected WE MAKIN LEMONADE WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥 🍋

I do wonder if DD changing forms is going to end up being deadly for him. Especially since monster wasn't sure if he was going to go through with that. Plus mm is canonically stronger than him and didn't use her extreme demon form, so I bet DDs time is limited even if they end up winning

Amazing episode, the song, the sprite is overall amazing. I really love when you focus more on the story while the song still vibes. It's amazing how you guys pull all of this off. The cutscene is the most unexpected thing ever, I love Lemon Demon Voice!! And Spirit C Pico just sounds so maniac and demonic, it is amazingly good. I can't just give a short comment on this episode, you guys took a whole 3 months, so I'm gonna do my best to rate this episode from top to bottom. We can start from; COMMENT: Although everything is good, it has some kind of energy to it. Like Daddy Dearest for examples, he just doesn't play as NPC but he's actually fighting for real, and Spirit Corrupted Pico too. Seems like the only way to defeat Pico is just kill him on the spot. I didn't expect that Daddy Dearest would get massive buff, but I think this is the only mod that understands how powerful Dearest Family is. You can't underestimate them even Lemon Demon would expected that outcome. It's crazy. THEORY: I don't know about theory, honestly everything seems to be revealed, but I wanna start with something simple. The part where Lemon Demon has a globe, it seems like a Mechanic thing where he can see what's happening outside, and also how he controls the corrupted I guess. By looking at SC Pico, he looks impossible to uncorrupt at that state, giving how he recorrupt fast is just too hard to do. I guess for my theory in the next epispde, they're gonna wreck up the stage. Of course how could I forget about Spirit BF? FEEDBACK: Let's go straightforward today! The sprites are amazing. Daddy Dearest looks like he was actually trying and you guys made Daddy Dearest way too stand out, he looks so stylish and move-able, what I'm saying is he doesn't look like an NPC like BF does in the original game, you actually made his hand moves, same goes with SC Pico, but that only happens in the cutscene. The song is amazing, although instrumental is the only one that actually bang, but vocals are also good. For once Daddy Dearest got a buff is a nice storyline for the corruption universe. And Lemon Demon looks like a detective, I love his style so much, And how he sits on the throne alone. It's just so cool. The stage also begins to cracks, wonder what happens next! And oh, the arrow got a cool new look. It looks way more original rather than the old one. Overall this episode is amazing 8/10 guys! DETAILS: As you can see, the stage begins to crack, it means there's an amazing energy coming and that is by Daddy Dearest himself. Throughout mid song Daddy Dearest began to fully recover himself, that's even crazy than SC Pico recorrupting. Because for the first time ever we see Daddy Dearest actually puts a good use of his powers. The way when SC Pico shoots, I love how Daddy Dearest just blocks it using is ARMS and HANDS. It is so amazing, feel like Daddy Dearest is 100% bullet proof! By the end of the song we can see SC Pico points the gun at himself, I don't know if this is actually how it ends but I don't think he shot himself. Seeing how he is absolutely fine after the fight. And that's it! I guess. I would still love to give more comments but I'm running out of ideas. Good job for the teams and wish you luck on the next one. Don't worry we'll always wait for a new one coming. Hopefully a comment like this would make you guys even motivated to create new amazing things. The plot is amazing, it goes absolutely well. It's really catchy and new unlike others corruption story.

Y’know I just realized something. The corruption should NEVER fight senpai following how fnf’s timeline works. The corruption always starts at the end of week 5, meaning that both bf and the rest of corruption shouldn’t know anything about spirit. This is only not true when MM or DD are corrupted, but senpai is ALWAYS corrupted/killed before them 2. This isn’t meant to be a complaint about corruption mods, this is just something interesting I noticed after thinking about how the fnf timeline works

It seems that Lemon Demon didn't have things so controlled after all, the final battle between Daddy Dearest and (Spirit?) Pico will be great, if he manages to free Pico we would have the characters that could face Lemon Demon, but I'm afraid That he won't let himself be defeated just like that and call some kind of backup...? (Girlfriend and Mommy Mearest I'm looking at you) Meanwhile I hope that Boyfriend along with Soul can finally defeat Insanity and free themselves to help Daddy Dearest in case his power is not enough to defeat Pico Great episode and props to the entire team! We looking forward to the final battle!

"I feel as if it won't be this simple" Considering Darnell is still roaming around free and unless monster wants to risk taking DD down with all he's got, someone has to sit out the fight against DD to stop Darnell, not to mention Tankman is also most likely staying out of this to stop BF.
